It was just weirdly asked also. I thought it was Nelson going actually defend Gallagher not ask it as a question.

It was something like.... "Now on twitter so people have accused you of training all your fighters to fight one way".... I was fully expecting Nelson to follow by saying "BUT that is definately not the case" - but he kind of stopped mid statement and you could see Gallagher think "oh this is a dig". There wasn't even a "what do you say to people who think that?"

It was a great question, because it was bang on the money - rightly or wrongly there has been many many boxing forum posters question particularly the development of Steve Smith under Gallagher for these reasons. It was great that Nelson brought it up, but it just seemed so random and out of there.

That would have been a great question. McCraken hasn't trained anyone of note other than Froch. Eastman was mid career when he joined McCracken (and had recently beat him!). He's not brought any other fighters through.

I've no axe to grind when it comes to Nelson, the Sky team are generally good, but there's loads of presenters and nothing for to get their teeth into. They do the odd debate, but all broadly agree, so it isn't really a debate as they know the outcome before they begin it.

Imagine if Marvel made Avengers 2 and Iron Man, The Hulk, Thor, Captain America, leather catsuit big tits and not Jason Bourne were all in it yet they had no one to fight. It would just be that lot sat about talking about what happened in the first film, which is very much like Ringside's current output.

Thor: "Remember when we had an amazing final showdown in New York at the end of the last film?"

Iron Man: "Yeah, that was awesome, and I'm kind of bored, so we should show highlights of it for the next few hours."
