well he did do what you are suggesting once or twice - against Paulie and kotelnic and it worked perfectly. Then he changed his style.

There you are then. The Manny Steward mentality would suit Khan's physical attributed to a tee. Unfortunately he thinks he's a big puncher and will always win in a shootout, just seems to be ingrained in what ever passes for his brain.

Yeah, it's stupid that he doesn't use that style. Then again he doesn't seem the brightest in the ring which may well be his problem. What ANY trainer needs to do with him is sit him down in front of videos of Wladimir Klitschko and Lewis and say "this is what you need to be trying to do".

Sure it's "boring" but being aggressive and getting KO'd isn't as good as having a long career at the top.

i got 22/1 on Peterson to win on points and 8/1 on Garcia KO. I had 11/1 on Diaz ko which wasn't far off. I could make a fortune from Khan's career at this rate.

Technically Khan’s problems stick out like a sour thumb, his infighting is subpar, he has no head movement, he leaves his chin stuck up in the air and he overcommits to combinations leaving himself open for counters.

Mentally Khan did show improvement in terms of not having to answer back so recklessly when hurt, he even held but Khan still doesn’t take responsibility for his actions in the ring; it’s always “we”, so when he fucks up its “we” who f*cked up thus Amir can blame someone else. He needs to take responsibility for his in ring performances.

In terms of natural attributes the attempt to strengthen Amir’s neck muscles have to be commended but to be honest I don’t think that Khan’s chin is his main problem his main problem in my eyes is his lack of punch power, he just can’t deter fighters from walking through him, if he could punch Khan would be a threat to the elite.

So far I don’t really see a lot of improvements but then again to be realistic it would take a miracle worker to sort out all of Amir’s faults and turn him into a truly elite fighter.

Still I will always watch Amir because he’s so exciting and I love his hand speed and fair play for two rounds after he was knocked down he boxed beautifully.

This should be an Andy Gorram question because the answer is both yes and no.

Offensively no - Didn't really hurt Diaz, may be down to Diaz's toughness
Defensively - Not really
Mentally - Somehow yes to a degree
