David Walker - that is who I was thinking of when reading this thread.

Just double checked his record, 20 fights against the usual suspects, a Southern Area title and all of a sudden he gets a European title shot - I remember watching that fight so it must have been on terrestrial tv ?

If Buglioni is as "game" as suggested, that will not necessarily do him any favours if / when he steps up a level.

I agree with this. Dave Walker, lovely bloke that he is, was being hyped up as the 'White Nigel Benn', when really he was domestice level, at best.

Can see similar hype about Frank and his power but is also appears to be 'hype'.

Fast hands, aggressive, fairly accurate, hits reasonably hard; he's got the ingredients to be exciting. After 8 fights, he also has plenty of time to develop and improve, but I would agree that the woeful opposition isn't helping. All the same things were said about Froch, though, and he came through ok; though Froch has better head movement.
