Sir, Charles has got his rematch against Bivins... I'm afraid I did not know what your complaints are about.

Your protest is noted. You certainly have a valid point there, but if you recall, the elligiblity rules have been relaxed for the duration of the Million Dollar Tournament.

But in fairness, Old Stribling did issue the challenge before you.
I've accepted that, but still Maxim feels he deserves a shot at the winner...provided he's able to win his fight this week of course. In all fairness I can't protest too much to deserve a shot over Stribling considering Stribling did Beat Maxim earlier in the Season.

Usually I am reluctant to committ to future title defences, but on this occasion in consideration of the fact that Joey Maxim has not been given a shot before - I will sanction that.

I never said ok to bivins vs ezzard, I wanted gibbons this week, this is the second time this season my fighter is being matched against my will, Bivins doesn't want that fight, he wants gibbons, even if it means dropping the stupid belts that's the fight I wanted.

Ok....there needs to be clarification:

FOL has a point....there is no "demand option" upon the champions this week. So we must follow the typical rules for unification which is fine.

He had asked in a PM to match Bivins vs Rosenbloom...which I offered up by proxy to the thread.

Why that is not ok...I guess I'll never know....however since FOL has now offered up clarity that he wants Gibbons. I'm good with it. So let's just let that one be.

Crease...I know you only stepped up to clear things up, but it got muddier here. So if we walk back 3 paces and I will attempt to clarify what each managers rights are.

Bivins has a right to drop the belts and fight Gibbons...and in order to please as many as possible, that's ok with me. Hopefully people will see that this is sensible...since Gibbons also has the right to accept this fight. No harm no foul. And no appeal on this.

However that does leave some details to be worked out with the other two belts. I suggest HH be offered at least one of them arguably his fighter deserves it. And since there is another fighter who has been sanctioned a belt fight....I think it is wise to have that fighter placed in some belt fight as well.

That does leave two more for a dance for a belt......? Spinks comes to mind as deserving.

I'll run a few fights soon....but I won't take any action on the belt front until we hear from my esteemed colleague. I don't want to ruffle feathers. And I don't want FOL to be railroaded unfairly.

Let's make the best of this, and please everyone show some flexibility and I"m sure things will sort out nicely.

That is all you needed to say. Gibbons vs Bivins is on and the vacated belts will be fought for next week.

Seeing as Gibbons vs Bivins fight has been agreed, other fighters title shots have been affected - those of Ezzard Charles and Old Strilbing. So they will be put in for the vacated titles next week.

And to that end, Joey Maxim will also be included due to his noble sidestep this week.

EDIT: The fourth spot will be filled by Michael Spinks.

After a careful reveiew of your post I concur.

I have always believed that both of us should have an equal say in things as such, Spinks will be placed in the four to fight for a title next week, regardless of this weeks results.
