I expect Khan to stop Devon by frustrating him peppering him and getting out breaking his resolve and will to fight .
Devon will try and tie him up but Khans far to quick.
I don't see it as a good match its a safe fight for Khan against a guy who is on the wane.
For him to say he was considering Thurman or Alexander is laughable its the far less risky option wise move on the part of team Khan.
Though I suspect Mayweather is in remote control of Amirs career decisions.

Of course it's a tough test for Amir, but he looked really good last time out, big and strong, and he should be a warm favourite here, though I never fancy betting on him because you can lose your hair with the stress.

The canvas could take a bigger beating than the fighters.

Read it in the guardian earlier today so I'm only repeating a report. Later in the article he also says he's not flash like mayweather so i guess he's lost his sense of irony due to time in the us.

I think Alexander can beat Khan handily to be fair. Khan is untested as a Welterweight, I never rated Collazo after he beat Ortiz (both are finished).

If Alexander gets a good start, Khan could revert to type and get picked off.

Initially i thought Khan would win pretty comfortable on the cards,i rate Alexander highly but assumed it would be Khan's time to step up and would set a pace that Devon couldn't keep up with,if Amir starts fast then Devon has been known to crumble mentally

But im starting to come around to the idea that Alexander might be too good technically for Amir and counter punch him at will,i just keep thinking back to Khan's performance against Diaz,which IMO apart from the Prescott and Garcia fights is the worst performance in his career and if Khans not on the ball,Alexander will punish him

I dont like to change my initial gut instinct so i'll stick with the Khan points win

Virgil Hunter is now trotting out the party statement regarding the losses Khan has suffered so far in his career:

“The people who have beaten him before have all involved a stroke of luck. That is not downing them but García was being beaten heavily and just took a lucky shot. The Peterson fight had its own controversies while against Prescott he was young."

Surely he should just say that he has learnt from past experience and hopes to avenge the Garcia loss. Garcia had lost the first 2 rounds but dropped Khan in 3 and 4 with a shot he had clearly been working on. Nothing lucky about it.

Exactly , i think Garcia has proved that his LEft hook is a cracking weapon and his main Shot.

Khan Vs Garcia next would be ideal , hopefully on undercard of Mayweather vs Manny
