He was listed at 6'7" when he turned pro, then 6'8", then 6'9". He's obviously very tall but I think his height may be exaggerated a bit, and there is very little between him and Ustinov/Wilder in their pictures together, though admittedly I couldn't see footwear. I wouldn't be surprised if Tyson is really something like 6'7.5" rather than 6'9", though I'm not sure it makes much of a difference.

Here he is standing on his toes for some reason while Wlad leans over and gives up some height. Have them plant their feet and stand in the same position and there'd probably be 2 inches or so between them in my opinion.

I was just thinking whilst catching up on last night's card - does anyone actually believe that Fury's camp think he can win against Wlad? Because his opposition so far tells me otherwise.

If Fury's camp believed he would ever be ready to beat Wlad, surely they would have put him in with someone of a similar size by now as a way of preparation - Wach / Ustinov / Price would all be decent tests and set him in good stead for the Klitschko fight. But instead they've consistently matched Fury with small, light-hitting guys.

I personally don't believe that Fury's camp have any illusions about the gulf in class between Tyson & Wlad. They've done their job and manoeuvred him to a mandatory shot which will earn him a load of money, but he's going to get smashed.

I'll be interested in seeing how cute his boxing skills are when he's Wlad and not facing a 6'1" or 6'2" plodder without a dig. They didn't look so hot when his undersized opponent Cunningham had some notable speed and skill.

Tyson Chandler (basketball player) is a legit/measured at draft 2.16m or 7'1", does he have 4"+ on Fury?

Based on that picture I think he would have at least that if he weren't leaning over, and even in that picture the top of Fury's forehead only reaches his eyes.

Chandler's draft measurement w/o shoes was 6'11.5" by the way and NBA listed heights are regularly exaggerated.

Shortly before the Cunningham fight, so he was around about 18 stone.

chandlers right shoulder is about the height of furys nose so he's definitely got at least 4 inches on him.
