What is it with boxing and visas, medicals etc thinking they can sort this stuff out in a couple of hours
I've watched you take some abuse from the trolls weekly for at least eighteen months and never agreed with them - but on this most innocuous of comments I must step in.Horse wrote:Typical Rigondeaux.
A clown surrounded by clowns.
He picked up a couple of million dollars and utterly stank the place out in his last outing. HBO execs were ringside and were in the thick of people boo'ing the spectacle. I can't see them putting their hand in their pockets anymore.magwitch wrote:I've watched you take some abuse from the trolls weekly for at least eighteen months and never agreed with them - but on this most innocuous of comments I must step in.Horse wrote:Typical Rigondeaux.

Rigondeaux is not a clown he's a boxer of the first rate.
Anybody know if he's in exile? He should have made some proper money with his abilities.

Yes, he is a first rate boxer. Which makes the way he is ruining his own career even more clownish.magwitch wrote:I've watched you take some abuse from the trolls weekly for at least eighteen months and never agreed with them - but on this most innocuous of comments I must step in.

Not saying it is mate, but this is a thread about Frank Warrens card on Saturday, but i would say it happens to him more than most latleyste1983 wrote:I had a ticket for Frankie Gavin v Van Heerden and got AJ in a walkover against Love because Eddie needed Gavin as an opponent for Brooke on a pay per view show, I also had a ticket for Eggington v Gavin and got Eggington v Evans (still a good fight but a think all will agree not as good). Both of those shows were promoted by Matchroom (and it was the main event that was effected) so I don't think its always one thing after another just for FWchrisnew86 wrote:Not on Franks case but its one thing after another for him.

Hearn doesn't even promote Frampton.veriton wrote:Maybe hearn has approached him on behalf of frampton; that's what I would have done. At the very least it fucks things up for his biggest rival.

I hope Frampton fights Donaire or moves up and fights LSC or Selby, he's worked hard to build a fan base, what's Rigo done? Got the boot from American TV because of his safety first style. He's got enough skill to dominate and put on great performances but we get poo like his last fight. I'm done with him.
The best reason so far Imo!crusader wrote:Obviously scared of Dicky.
True. I'm the same to be fair and I'm working class! I've been working full time since I was 16 and I still get a semi when my wages go in!! If I had these guys level of income I'd be a feckin danger to myself.palooka wrote:It's no wonder so many boxers end up broke, they just do whatever they want to whenever they want to do it. Nothing yet, I'm not expecting anything today because it's a bank holiday in Russia, hopefully Warren calls in a few favours and gets it sorted. Don't think Rigo will arrive tomorrow as planned but I reckon it'll get sorted in time for the fight.Stuarty30 wrote:Is there any update on this? Is it a no go? I wonder if Frank will be able to get Jazza a half decent replacement if it has went tits up.

His trainer trains Chagaev aswell I think. Could be wrong on that though, not 100% sure.handsofstone wrote:He was in Tyrone Spong's corner at the Browne/Chagaev card on saturday which i thought was odd at the timepalooka wrote:My thoughts exactly, Stu.Stuarty30 wrote:
