My £200 Quigg-Frampton ticket was £500+fees for this.

It suspiciously sounds like another case of BREXIT.

Tyson hasn't been right at all from the very announcement of this fight, and it wasn't him doing it for the media. John disappearing, Peter being very quiet except making a stupid video, the outbursts....

BTW, amigos, Dan Rafael, the sharp boxing scribe who also works for ESPN, has reported on the network that several sources very close to the fight have told him that Fury was simply not prepared to take on Klitschko in a few weeks.

Probably, but boxers suffer injuries constantly in training. Sometimes they pull out, but most often they suck it up and keep their commitment.

Because he was grossly out of shape for the fight in 2 weeks, Fury obviously decided that the tender ankle would sound like a good excuse to cancel the bout.

If he doesn't buckle down and recognize what it takes to be (and remain a champion) it's unlikely he'll consider taking on Klitschko in October.

He'll miss out on too many wild nights.

Shame really. Fury's a strange bloke and I genuinely believe that his head just wasn't right for this one. There's an argument that he just couldn't be arsed and just decided to be awkward and mess Klitschko about, possibly as revenge for Klitschko messing him about previously with his own pullout and also the other times Fury has been really messed about (twice by haye). Maybe just using his one bit of power to be an asshole.

Sadly I think you may have something there mate.

Fury doesn't want to fight Klitsko again, I don't think he even really wants to fight again. Maybe when he's skint, in his eyes he's done his bit, achieved his goals. He beat Klitscho fair and square last time though. No one can take that away from him. Big money fight with AJ, why not? Take a beating and 10 million quid plus. That's the way he should be pushed, train and plenty of his pre fight bullshit.

Sounds very similar to a bad one I did playing football. Didn’t fall over but got my ankle hyper-extended by blocking a shot from point blank range. After 6 X-rays the doctor said there was “no damage” .........by which he can only have meant it wasn’t broken.

Tyson is a very big fella and there’s a lot of very beautiful yet uneven places to run in the Lakes - he’ll have to be careful.

From memory mine was getting on for 3 months and probably more like 4 before I was playing again.

Sorry for the long post too but this affects the weight too. He needs to be careful what he puts away for 3 months here......steady on the Eccles cakes Tyson! GWS.

You're probably just being sarcastic there but either way, maybe he should just pack it in if he isnt interested anymore. He must have made a decent amount of coin from the first fight that he could set himself up with but I don't know.

Had tickets for this and was absolutely gutted.

Apart from the boxing and injury he looks like a middle aged bloke who has gatecrashed a teenagers disco and is trying to be cool in front of his pretend mates.

Kiltschko is a big draw in Germany - this is clearly an agreed delay to get the fight moved over there due to poor ticket sales (you know, because the British general public are too busy voting for brexit to care about a fighting gypsy warrior).
