Brook has always had a good chin at welterweight- the punch resistance he has at middleweight ie does have an equally good chin at 160 will decide whether my bet/s are successful. Brook needs to make it past the 6th for me basically.

I actually thought Golovkin looked a bit fleshy at the public workout. He looked a bit fleshier than normal to me. I know he looked gaunt in the face but I'm talking body wise. I wonder if he is maybe carrying a bit of excess water weight due to the long flight.

You can make what you want I don't think the outcome will change it just changes how long it will take GGG to dispatch him

Yes mate, different people are giving different feedback about GGG but I can tell you one thing take what Dan says with a pinch of salt his wallet is always open very biased journo !

I can see why you have put 3 bets on GGG the lads defo winning just don't know the method. I made a school boy error and placed my bet at the start of the week on a GGG KO round 3 I'm changing my mind to between 6-12 now !

He's pushing 35, fighting away and doing publicity, both of which may have messed with his routine, peaked physically a while ago - indeed, had the mature man look back in the amateurs besting up the likes of Dirrell. Maybe it's that time, like it was when Tszyu came over to face Hatton. Hope so. All the great fighters from Ukraine, Kazakhstan, places like that have the same career trajectory. They peak early and don't get beaten necessarily by the better fighter, they just wear out. (Not counting heavyweights). Nazarov, Arbachakov, Tszyu. Golovkin?

Just trying to be optimistic.

golovkin looked a bit unwell to me. Probably cold or something not an unlikely scenario following recent long haul flight.

Regardless mate I think everyone should be getting behind Brook but I think even a tired, old, sick, fatigued Golovkin beats Kell :/

Flying Long haul even in 1st class isn't exactly a health boost. You are on an Arid germ cylinder at 30kft. Unless you are on a Dreamliner, then slightly different, but still equally a jolt to the immune system. I don't get why he didn't spend some time in Europe for a couple of weeks to get used to the timezone. Flying in 6 days before is normally what they ask Ovil to do (gotta love Ovil!). I am still thinking GGG will win.

Yup call it confidence or arrogance I think even the best boxers need time to adjust to the surroundings I even heard that GGG was mic'd up on SkySports when they were recording at Big Bear he said he will KO Kell in one round so I dont think he really gives a flying ...

You mean I debate and discuss on a forum things that I have experience of and can bring some knowledge to the table about?

I agree mate the bad thing about this fight if Brook wins, anyone whose done a few bicep curls and chucked some dumbbells about will think they are top fighters.

Yup I remember staying up for that fight and thinking wow this kid can really box and not just a puncher his jab on that night was electric.
