It's like Usyk stepping up to fight Joshua right now. Would be an easy fight to sell. In fact Usyk/Joshua would be much more competitive than Haye/Bellew.

Cunningham was the No. 1 contender at cruiserweight and the fight would have been for all 4 belts. It was a big fight at the time.

Haye and Bellew just want to cash out. Bellew landed a title thanks to Hearn and is now looking for the biggest grossing fight he can make as he doesn't want to fight any of the other top cruisers. Haye only returned to pay for his divorce.

They are both in on the act, 100% and BOTH are going to con the public ( in Bellew's words ) by making a fight that a few casuals wouldn't mind seeing. It's an awful fight but makes perfect sense for where they both are right now.
Haye gets his money back and can retire again, Bellew gets a payday and can retire claiming to be 'another in a long, long, long line ( 2? 3? ) of amazing world champions to hail from the fighting city of Liverpool!'

I remember him on here saying sparring is sparring and fighting is different but now he is going on about something that happened with haye in sparring as if he beat haye up or k.oed him. Haye will beat him with just his left hand. I dont think the figt will happen unless bellend moves up,haye jumped up to heavyweight beacuse it was a struggle to make cw,plus its bigger £££ in the heavyweights,if bellend fought like he did against flores haye will do him very early

It's not an act bellew behaves like a chav all the time, it was obvious it was going to happen and pre planned on bellews part but Haye was prepared. What I would say is chisora was a threat to haye and was in his face about to do something stupid where as bellew wouldn't stand any chance and also had about 10 security guards in front of him. If bellew had actually got to Haye he would likely now be in intensive care.

This is what I stated ages ago, I haven't seen Bellow fighting and still haven't in fact, but any real good cruiserweight can probably handle David Haye nowadays.

Not sure about Cunningham, can't remember tbf - though he travelled to France and KO'ed Mormeck, who was the man at CW at the time

Fury was an odd one, Haye looked uncomfortable at the pressers and didn't look like he wanted to be there and being out staged

I thought at the time he was struggling to think he could beat Fury and then the injury - no belts on the line (?) but £3-4mil surely worth the risk?

I thought Haye looked perfectly relaxed and comfortable in those pressers. He got injured it happens.

Haye has fought guys 30-40 lbs heavier and nearly 100lbs if you include Valuev. So I'm not sure why weight is such an issue here. They're both the same height, which is more important IMO.

Wonder what Bellew would say after he gets kod in 3 rnds?
