Why are you so happy for Joshua to fight awful opposition?Riddick Blowe wrote:I did a poo this morning that smelt nicer than the one I did yesterday.

They all do, Fury fought no one prior to his big chance - I always rated him from the start and knew he would have a great chance against WladHorse wrote:Why are you so happy for Joshua to fight awful opposition?Riddick Blowe wrote:I did a poo this morning that smelt nicer than the one I did yesterday.

Fury had a much better record before the Wlad fight than Joshua does now.rossij8 wrote:They all do, Fury fought no one prior to his big chance - I always rated him from the start and knew he would have a great chance against Wlad

AJ clearly got a better record as Fury had. Even if Fury had won everything with early KOs as well.

Nah, Furys wins over Cunningham, Chisora and Hammer are better than anyone on Joshua's resume.
All 3 would beat Breazeale and Whyte who are Ajs best wins.

Re: ERKEN TEPER SPOILER
I think Whyte would win against Chisora and Hammer, Cunningham not sure, Cunningham will never be able to KO him, but he might win on points by running around like a chicken, like David Haye.tigermoth87 wrote:asdfjkl wrote:Like... Fury's record is clearly better.

I really don't get the Whyte hype. He hasn't proved himself against anyone and hasn't looked that impressive against who he has beat. He did look good for one round vs Joshua though.asdfjkl wrote:I think Whyte would win against Chisora and Hammer, Cunningham not sure, Cunningham will never be able to KO him, but he might win on points by running around like a chicken, like David Haye.tigermoth87 wrote:asdfjkl wrote: Like... Chisora at least beat Helenius, gave a good showing against Klitschko and took Malik Scott's 0
Re: ERKEN TEPER SPOILER
Whyte is one of the most overrated fighters in the division. He hasn't beaten anyone in the top 75, and I wouldn't exactly say his wins over area level fighters such as Allen and close to morbidly obese Lewison were impressive.
His big pro achievements are catching an over-eager AJ with a good shot, and beating other fighters' leftovers in quicker fashion (though Chisora, Gerber, and many other lesser names have also stopped common opposition faster than he did).

Re: ERKEN TEPER SPOILER
Joshuas record is appalling for a world title holder with 2 defences.
For a 3 year, 17 fight novice it's half respectable but we judge it based on the hype and where he has managed to position himself both on the world stage and in the view of the greater public, so it should be judged more harshly.
Joshua has fought absolutely no one of real quality and Fury has many wins which rank above anyone he has faced. The fact that Joshua is winning world titles from and subsequently defending against this calibre of opponent, is the big issue. Fury fought some average fighters and some relatively low risk, well ranked opposition but he did so on the way to a title shot.

Whyte is British level at the moment and done nothing to suggest he is more than that.
Re: ERKEN TEPER SPOILER
If Whyte beats Chisora he will have proved himself at world level. I think he will as he is a much improved fighter of late.
Re: ERKEN TEPER SPOILER
Cunningham legitmately beat a Mansour in better shape than the one that gave Breazeale a beating.
As for Whyte vs those guys, in shape Whyte is a decent match up, fat Whyte that trains himself and has a shoulder problem really doesn't. THough like in the Teper fight Hammer could likely out stamina Whyte to get the win, unless there was British scoring.
