I think the amateur point system suited Gavin better than the pro game. As simple as that really. Lots of punches thrown, knock outs not needed and more skill full than being rugged and a brawler. The pro game just hasn't suited him. He should have stayed in the amateur game and been the best GB Olympian boxer of all time.
