Probably John Ruizzzzzzzz was his most impressive moment. He does deserve a lot of gratitude from everyone for doing that to that stiff who got every break in the world.
I don't count the Moorer win because if you actually look at the punch that landed on Moorer I don't think it could knocked me out.
As mentioned by others, Tua did have a very good left hook. He did have a good chin. However, against Joe Frazier, that simply isn't enough.
My biggest criticism of Tua has been his workrate. Occasionally, he would be busy. However, in several fights, he simply didn't do anything.
The last several rounds against Lewis he barely threw a punch. He did very little against Byrd. Even against Oqeundo, he looked horrible for several rounds before landing a bomb that saved it for him.
Frazier had the better right hand. Frazier was also the better defensive fighter of the two.
It sounds overly simple, but he simply usually didn't throw enough punches to beat Frazier. Frazier was almost always busy.

Bad arguments... Foreman didn't throw enough punches to beat Jimmy Ellis... but he threw plenty enough punches to beat Joe Frazier very easily.
You'd have been knocked cold and probably killed if Tua hit you like he hit Moorer... Moorer was previously knocked out twice in 46 previous fights by Geroge Foreman and Evander Holyfield in a rematch... George Johnson had been knocked out 7 times by guys you never heard in 30 previous fights ... but Frazier couldn't stop him.

Foreman never fought Ellis honeycomb. Your ramblings are usually amusing, but here it's just a step too far. Tua wasn't bigger than Joe. Get a grip.

I liked the one recently where he found Derrick Jefferson and Lennox Lewis to be comparable.
Foreman did actually stop a guy named Jimmy Ellis (not the good Jimmy Ellis) in one of his comeback fights.
As for Tua and Moorer, I was referring to the glancing blow that barely touched Moorer. There is no way that particular punch should have hurt Moorer but I guess that was too difficult for him to understand.

agreed styles ....but joe wasnt little .....joe frazier would never let david izon go 12 rds ...joe frazier would never struggle against jazzy jeff wodden ...hell joe frazier mite even knock out ike ibeabuchi

Joe WAS little... Only 5'11" X 203 for stubby Bonavena... Like Mike Tyson was only 5'11" X 218 when he faced 6'4" X 232 Buster Douglas and got flattened... or Frazier facing George Foreman... Frazier wasn't a good boxer and had no strength. He was gone like a fart in the wind against Foreman because he had on answers.. Ibeabuchi was 6'2.5" X 245 of rock solid muscle... Frazier was 5'11" X 203 of floppy flab... He giggled like a jello bowl every time foreman knocked him down -- which was about every time George hit him -- which was often.

Tua a midget???? ... They were both very short... Tua was 5'10 inches tall... Frazier was just under 5'11"
The difference was size and strength... Frazier didn't have a lot of that... Tua was a brute -- he was never stopped, even by beast-like Ike Ibeabuchi... Frazier was stopped 3 times and never fought anyone like Ike... His head was a magnet for hooks and uppercuts to find.

- Nah, that's just the sound of your Lardass going splotto on the deck again.
Why the depraved lot here want to soil themselves running down a perfectly respectable contender who cleaned the clocks of more former and future champs than did jerry quarry speaks to your biased lack of objectivity.
Best to best this is an easy ko for Tua who was immensely more powerful than Joe who I love as a fighters fighter, but a solid 30 lbs disadvantage here. Ike and Tuaman were like 2 primordial beasts of prey that night. Yeah, the best Joe beats the worst Tua as the unartful here love to make and Joe legacy so much greater. But if legacy wins fights, than John L and Fitz KTFO Joe. I could never be so addled as that as you sweetums proved in dumbing down every Tua thread ever made

That's something people say when they have no argument to present.. Frazier was stopped 3 X -- Tua was never stopped
Frazier was crushed in short order and decked 8 X by a smashing puncher, the 6'3" X 217 and somewhat slow George Foreman who lost 5 pro fights.
Tua was never floored in a fight with a rock solid, smashing puncher, the 6'2.5 X 235, quick fisted Ike Ibeabuchi...a man who never lost a pro fight -- Ibeabuchi was 18 pounds heavier for Tua than Foreman was for Frazier...
World Heavyweight Champions who Tua knocked out include Hasim Rahman, John Ruiz, Michael Moorer, and Oleg Maskaev... Tua bombed them all out ... The Heavy Champs who Frazier beat: Ali once in 3 tries, and Jimmy Ellis, a little guy who fought most of his career fights as a Middleweight.
Guys who Joe Frazier couldn't stop include Oscar Bonavena, Joe Bugner, George Johnson, George Foreman, Muhammad Ali, and Floyd Cummings...
Tua and Frazier have the same KO ratio---but Frazier padded his KO record with Light Heavyweights and 17 opponents who weighed under 200 pounds---more than half his wins...some were as light as 180 and 177 pounds.. The lightest guy Tua fought weighed 195 and they averaged over 220.

Tua would have been a dangerous contender in any era. Frazier would have been a great champion in any era.
Tua was a fantastic puncher and take anyone out with it. Frazier was a slow starter. It's possible Tua wins. But unlikely.

BuzzBox... You are not an infant... even though generally you sound like one.. English is at least your 2nd or 3rd language I would guess. You probably don't believe much of what you say, but you just put it out there because your brain can't crank out anything better.
My opinions are not unique, or anything close.. A lot of people share them.. A lot of people are smart enough to know Tua would crush Joe Frazier.. Although I know they're NOT in the majority -- but I'm OK with that.. 90% of people thought Frazier would easily beat Foreman and they couldn't tell those 2 fighters' styles from their stools.. Most people thought Tyson would destroy Holyfield -- even though their fights with Buster Douglas were polar opposites.. You'd think bettors would think about that, but they didn't... Most people who put money down on Joshua-Whyte bet on Dillian... The few very smart bettors ponied up the really big bucks on Joshua.
Most fans never put their brains in gear anyway... and that's a good thing... You'd never get juicy odds if most pundits were astute analysts.

I'll tell you one thing, Joe Frazier was never floored by a jab. A JAB sent Tua crashing to the canvas and he was saved by the bell.
