Prime tszyu easily stopped a guy, where floyd had huge problems and was close to losing the fight on points. I am talking about judah.
Past prime old tszyu lost to hatton.
Castillo beat floyd. Casamayor and margarito are in the same league as castillo, if not better.
I have no problem with floyd not wanting to fight thurman or brook. Floyd was past prime and those guys the new generation. My problem is when floyd was prime his unwillingness to tesz himself against other top boxers in their prime, cotto.pac.marga etc......all avoided.
The most important thing in boxing is prime vs prime. Thats why i want spence crawford or ggg canelo now and not in 6 years!! Floyd did not respect that rule.
I have a problem with Floyd not fighting Thurman or Brook.. And with Pacquiao fighting light hitters for years -- instead of Brook, Thurman, Spence, Porter, and Crawford... Arum even begged Pacquiao to fight Crawford... And Golovkin should have gotten his opportunity at least 6 years ago when Martinez was World Champion.. He would have made an entirely DIFFERENT history of the Middleweight Division.. The problem with Boxing is: the most prominent World Champion is allowed to duck the most dangerous challenger.
But if you saw Vince Phillips hammer Tszyu, you know Tszyu had nothing for Floyd.. Floyd beat Judah very easily.. For some reason Floyd had a very slow start to the fight and adjusting to Judah's speed and angles.. It's a matter of styles.. But Judah was messed up a duck.. Zab lost badly to Cotto, Tszyu, Floyd, and (can you believe it?) Carlos Baldomir.. Once Floyd mounted his attack horse Judah didn't win another round.
And, for sure, Castillo never beat Floyd in their 2 fights... I had Floyd winning their 1st fight 116-112 and winning every round of the rematch... So losing 4 out of 24 rounds tops... That's giving Castillo every round I possibly could on legitimate punches... Legitimate punches are NOT holding-n-hitting shots.. low blows... shots on the back... shots to the back of the head... shots landed after the bell... and shots landed after the referee calls for a break.
