Don't get me wrong, this is awesome and will produce a true champion, best thing I've seen ever as far as boxing tournaments. But it would be deflating if usyk & breidis were the top two seeds and we ended up with usyk/glowacki & breidis/Huck rematches.

I agree. Hopefully they consider that and do something to distance guys who've already fought each other.

Christ I hadn't thought of that, Usyk and Briedis were both impressive in those fights but I wouldn't want to see rematches

As much as Huck has been a warrior, I'd rather him not be in it to cut down on the potential rematches. Plus he didn't look so hot last time out..

It would be up to the fighter and if I had 3 fights in 10 months I'd certainly pick the guy I already handled easily. Even then gassiev, wlodarczyk, dorticos are still matching up.

I agree, isn't he with sauerland? If so, hard to imagine he's not involved.

No, I imagine it would work the way Basketball tournaments work.

#1 seed vs #8 seed
#2 seed vs #7 seed
#3 seed vs #6 seed
#4 seed vs #5 seed

Yes, at least for the first round. I assume the semifinals would be different.
