Watch the Caparello fight in which he got dropped and youll see something very similar; gets hit low, drops his hands and pauses as if waiting for the ref, then gets clocked while his hands are down.

If the bout wasnt called so early it mayve been more apparent to Kov that he wasnt going to get his way with the low blows, the fighters may have become tangled, broke, and reset another time, and so on. And, if Weeks did call them low, thats time for Kov to recover and get his wind back.

The momentum was obviously with Ward in the 8th, but many other fighters have seemingly been close to stopping their opponent, only for the opponent to come back and win or at least go the distance. It's just easy to act like it was a guarantee when we never got to see it play out.

Ward does deserve his props for how effectively he does his thing, but for me, his career at super middle did not steal Joe c's crown. He ruled that for ages.

Don't know if I'll watch Jamie conlon anymore, like a fukin rollercoaster. Too stressful to follow. Watching him and a couple lines is a heart attack waiting to happen
