I'd not say Teper and Hammer are decent names really. They're not really in any world title contention. Basically European-level fodder. Either way, they're the best names in a period of almost five years in what should have been the prime of his career.

At this point he's still a risky fighter. Beat him and you've beaten a guy many think should have retired anyway but he's still clearly a huge puncher.

Povetkin fought him because he needed to fight after the drug controversy and no doubt it came with the sweetener of Eddie hearns stable including AJ being dangled. Let’s face it why the hell would AJ or wilder want to face him? He’s too far down the pecking order for Parker, and Whyte would probably fight him if there was no one else about but he’ll be eyeing up ranked opponents for a mandatory position.

It’s not a case of him being ducked it’s a case of him offering zero risk to reward. Unless he drops tondomestic level where he would be a big scalp for domestic level fighter, but like I said he’s likely to blow them away. The only real names he could pull are guys like debois and Joyce who would maybe interested in having name on their resume.

Povetkin took the fight because he thought that Price is well known in UK and there is like zero chance of him loosing that fight. Price prove that wrong. I think Povetkin was more hurt by Price than Wlad.

Price might have some problem finding meaningful opponents after that fight.
