1 - I was a toddler
2 - Thanks to you I know it now. I could've said I knew, but I did not.

I wasn’t taking the piss, just assumed you would have known being related to the producer. No reason why you would’ve though. A cool claim to fame, was there any bad blood after Ali sued him (assuming Wikipedia is correct)?
The other version: Ali by TKO was filmed and I guess shown somewhere.HomicideHenry wrote: ↑10 Mar 2018, 23:29 There was no alternative version. What happened was someone from the British press got ahold of the film, and in the round where referee Dundee looked as though he'd stop the fight, the reporter told a fictitious account saying that Ali won the contest shortly thereafter.
If you watch the Superfight it's either round 9 or 10, where you see the wig become displaced. Allegedly after that a huge fight broke out between Rocky and Ali, and filming couldn't resume for a couple of days.
If you watch the Superfight DVD it says that nobody ever saw the alternative ending. The reporter just lied to the BBC saying that Ali won.APerno wrote: ↑11 Mar 2018, 03:15The other version: Ali by TKO was filmed and I guess shown somewhere.HomicideHenry wrote: ↑10 Mar 2018, 23:29 There was no alternative version. Interesting, I wonder if the nephew can clear it up? This ending got out there somehow, or was this made available on the Super Fight DVD for the first time?HomicideHenry wrote: ↑11 Mar 2018, 03:25If you watch the Superfight DVD it says that nobody ever saw the alternative ending. Eh, so how is there another version on youtube showing Ali winning in the 13th round then?HomicideHenry wrote: ↑10 Mar 2018, 23:29 There was no alternative version. The alternative version was never released until the Superfight DVD came out. The DVD extras show the Ali victory as a never before seen fight.Controversial wrote: ↑11 Mar 2018, 04:45Eh, so how is there another version on youtube showing Ali winning in the 13th round then?HomicideHenry wrote: ↑10 Mar 2018, 23:29 There was no alternative version. Ah, sorry I misinterpreted what you were saying, I thought you meant they never filmed an alternative ending.HomicideHenry wrote: ↑11 Mar 2018, 07:13The alternative version was never released until the Superfight DVD came out. I hope so...the filming was choreographed to show every possible scenario by exchange, round, etc. No one knew the winner until all data was put into the computer, which had some strange name. Once the results came out, the film clips were cobbled together to make the entire fight. I imagine over the years that ALL clips somehow got out to the public, as none were destroyed and it's what, almost 60 years, and folks made up fake endings and such. I'll ask my cousin. He'll know. But was unaware of any alternative FINISHED PRODUCT.APerno wrote: ↑11 Mar 2018, 04:22Interesting, I wonder if the nephew can clear it up?
