(If he stays active) Who would you like to see Luis "King Kong" Ortiz (28-1, 24 KO's) fight next?
Luis Ortiz is a PBC fighter that will inevitably make a comeback against a fellow stablemate, such as one of the following guys: Dominic Breazeale, Charles Martin, Chris Arreola, Gerald Washington, Oscar Rivas, Antonio Tarver, Travis Kauffman, Artur Szpilka, Izuagbe Ugonoh, Steve Cunningham or BJ Flores.
I refuse to believe the Cuban should follow the typical path chosen by a fighter participating in his first outing since suffering defeat, by engaging in a “confidence builder” against a journeyman, as he’s far too old and too good for that, but that doesn’t mean it won’t happen.
I doubt that Dominic Breazeale would consider facing Ortiz, since he’s highly-rated by the WBC, IBF & the WBO, which means he won’t want to risk losing a guaranteed title shot in the short-term in return for receiving a small payday against the high-risk Cuban.
Some of the other guys I’ve mentioned could be up for the challenge though, since fight fans won’t get what they “want”, they’ll instead get what “can” be made.

A top five heavyweight that almost stopped a prime top three guy, ....should retire? That is absolutely absurd.
Ortiz has plenty of gas left in the tank, and the ability to make millions more doing what he does best for his family. We need more boxers like Ortiz, and less like Tyson Fury.

He didn't dominate Wlad. He threw a very small amount of punches while Wlad threw virtually none the entire fight. He barely fought, and that was enough to beat a man that simply didn't fight. Neither man had a mark on their face at the end of it all. It was the worst fight of all time.

Fury vs Wlad was 12 rounds of what we just saw in the first 4 rounds of Wilder vs Ortiz. In other words, pathetic to watch.

Tyson Fury has his fans, and its not difficult to see why. World champion by defeating Vladimir Klitschko in his own back yard and unbeaten in 25 fights!
However, that's about it as far as the plaudits go. Along the way he fought hardly any dangerous fighters and only one known fighter, namely Chisora, avoided David Price, punched himself in the face and stacked up a host of infringements (a kind term).
The mere fact that the fight against Klitschko was the most lacklustre heavyweight title clash of all time, and that Klitschko was denied the rematch he desperately sought to re-establish his reputation does tarnish Fury's achievement considerably. Instead Klitschko pulled out the stops against Joshua in a classic for the ages that strongly suggests that Fury got lucky, not once but twice.
I'd love Fury to face Ortiz, but of course he won't, he'd get soundly thrashed. After the superb showing against Wilder Luis Ortiz deserves another big fight but will he get it? By some accounts his pay cheque against Wilder was a trifle of what he would have made against AJ as the mandatory. But that ship sailed a while ago, so he may have to keep looking for smaller fish for a while.

By a 2nd thought, I'd like to see Kownacki, or Breazeale against Ortiz.

Great point...how quickly we forget!!
IMO no HW contender with a future will be really to take the high-risk/low-reward option of Ortiz at this point.
Ideally the loser of Parker-Joshua would be an interesting matchup.

Absolutely he should keep fighting as long as he wants to.
As for gas in the tank, he slowed down after the 7th and wasn't really letting his hands go for 1-6 so being that it was his biggest pro fight, and he should have been in the shape of his life, I don't know about gas in the tank

Big Baby Miller would destroy the old man... Ortiz is done... The youngsters outlasted him and he won't get better at 39 and 40... It's over dude... You should have finished Wilder in the 7th... Where were your cool and short hard flurries??

You gotta be kidding!!
Miller is a fat barroom brawler. Ortiz wouldnt stand right in front of him and give him free target practice like Wach or Washington did. The biggest "advantage" Miller has over Ortiz is the
extra 40-50 pounds of pure fat on his identical 6'4" frame.
Plus crude brawler Miller has yet to face a quality
southpaw in his career.

Agreed but I'm going with Ortiz, unless the Wilder loss just took too much out of the Cuban (a distinct possibility in your late 30s).
