aside from brits, who is a good logical next step in 2018 for yarde, specific fighters plz, who would or wouldnt you accept from these guys

I understand him not taking the Beterbiev fight at this stage as he clearly isn't ready for it.

But you have to admit, it seems a bit odd for Frank to turn down the Johnson fight because Yarde is 'number two in the world', only to turn down a world title offer.

If Frank believes in his man he should take the offer, beating Johnson for the British title wont exactly drop him down the rankings will it?

yarde needs to fight an opponent of the calibre above (or better) this year or it does look bad even to me as a fair observor. there will still be ample time this year even after his next fight, so they should work on 1 good opponent rather then abunch of weaker ones to fill shows for fw

tbh i thought skejoca and averlant werent that bad at all, but now with yet more easy ko wins he ll be stagnating not to fight someone better, like dominic boesel, who ud averlant

From a boxing fan's perspective seeing two young, undefeated fighters fight eachother before the winner moves up in levels is the ideal scenario.

The politics are an obstacle, but not an unsurmountable one.

Unless Yarde is being offered mega money, he should continue learning his trade for another year.

Not surprised Beterbiev is scratching around for an opponent. I'd back him against any active light heavy in the world right now.
