I like Fury he's good for the game, but talking that kind of bollox to the champs and then fight cruiser weights not even in the top 50 just looks daft.
The trouble is, Fury is actually a pretty boring safety first fighter. All his big talk of chinning people is just that, talk.
Yeah I agree, as a fighter he's pretty dull but he knows how to promote a fight.

He's not got it in him to chin a quality opponent, just doesn't have the snap in his punches or the power to begin with.

he wouldn't be where he is without his self promotion.
He could make watching paint dry sound exciting.

That's Fury's problem these days.
He is the HW Champion of talking.
He talks a lot more than he fights and when he does fight, his opponents are beyond laughable and he looks like a trimmed down Sumo wrestler.

I agree he needs to do his talking in the ring but he's only had one opponent during the comeback so far.

After that fight in Manchester he said he felt comfortable at the weight and wasn't going to lose anymore.

I think his choice of trainer is madness. What happens when he is in deep water in a big fight and he comes back to the corner. What's the guy going to say? I'm not expecting him to be like Angie Dundee or Manny Stewart or the second coming of Eddie Futch, but come on. The Lineal Heavyweight Champion with a complete novice trainer. Look what happened to Mike Tyson when he let his mates run the corner..

And Mike Tyson always had the get out of jail card if things weren't going his way, what's Tyson Fury going to do if the chips are down, throw a few pitiful jabs and back peddle

Don't get me wrong, Fury is a highly skilled fighter and has always found a way to win, but what happens when he comes back to the corner, he's been down in the last round, picked up a nick and is breathing heavily. What's the advice?

Too true; it was utterly shambolic.
During Tyson's defeat to Douglas, that was arguably the worst corner work I've ever seen.
The only thing that came close to it was the corner work for Tyson's defeat to Lewis!
I was thinking of saying what did Tyson ever do to deserve that, but that would be stupid, because he did more than plenty!

He could sing a few bum notes or throw a few dodgy dance moves .

I genuinely can’t ever see Fury losing to a Williams or quitting to McBride, at any stage, whoever’s in his corner. He may not have had Mikes power or ferocity, but he’s about a foot taller and not an “on top fighter”.

Well doesnt sound like it.
I dont expect this comeback to last long tbh. I dont think he will be motivated enough to keep his shit together.

That sounds perfect to me.
If I was part of Team Fury, I'd be driving that Silvens bloke to the arena myself on 'fight' night.

David Price is saying he has a big fight lined up plus on another boxing website he is saying he could face Fury in the Autumn.
I'm sure if price was to face Fury 18th August surely this fight would have been announced by now, but if not 18th August could well be the fight after.
Price seems to be wanting the fight.

Great opportunity for Price, either in August or the next fight in the autumn,he should just go in all guns blazing and try to stop Fury,it's his best and only chance really.
