You are right and No pressure going in as a massive underdog and beating Yoka would of got him some good fights but IMO i think it must of been for the pay day tho.
Any idea of what he got?
I don’t know.
I’d imagine around £10k
Between 20-30k, career high pay day.
Received £10k for Ortiz, just under £20k for Whyte and similar for the Thomas fights.
For Ortiz I’d have expected higher but the Thomas fights that’s plenty.
Surprised he got so much to box Yoka.
Where are these figures from please?

He's openly spoken about his Ortiz and Whyte purses.
Thomas x2 and Yoka, I have a few connections who let me know.

Most fast food restaurants have a manager. He needs to get a job before he gets hurt.

I’m not a fan. Saw him on the undercard to Kell Brook’s last successful welterweight title defense. Terrible fight and he did just about everything wrong.

Was that against Jason Gavern, who did the Ric Flair impressions ?
Easily one of the top 5 worst fights I have ever seen.

fair play to him. He is a average fighter who has been given exposure because he gets a good following on social media and has a very good chin. No disrespect to the man but if this was 15 years ago with no social media he would not of been seen fighting outside of small hall shows. He's made the most out of it you can't knock him

Really nice guy who everyone seems to love. Think Eddie would be missing a trick not having him join the commentary team.

Don't think that's his choice

Saw him fight once on a Kell Brook undercard and he was terrible versus a cruiserweight spoiler.

Dave Allen on twitter saying that he's had enough of boxing and that his next fight will probably be his last.
Does he have a back up career?
And what if he wins?
