I haven't seen Benn fight at all really, it's a shame to hear he is not quite Top level, I prefer the Benn's to the Eubanks.

what doesn't surprise me is "the British/English" corruption and insured win at all costs. I've stated for years we're are only 2cd to Germany in that department and for years there were a lot of questionable decisions over there.

Britain/England have ALWAYS protected some of their fighters and insured victories, especially the higher the weight class, after all it's the Big Boys who draw & pay, but we historically have always failed at the Top Spot - HW and such.

It's such a shame too, as someone else on here stated for all the good and potentially other top fighters who might have sailed into deeper waters, pay days and notoriety.

Boxing the Business is NOT the fair & regulated Sport it should be.

Shame that too.

Its safe to say that when you are going life and death against a part time boxer/french pastry chef and you are a full time boxer, that erm you aint ever going to make it

Still he can cash in on his fathers name while it lasts. Just needs to avoid getting chinned and face very low level opponents

reality is pretty much most countries have a notable officiating bias towards the home boxers, and can go even further into regions

since there are a lot of high profile fights in the uk and fights in general, we see it fairly often, but im not really sure uk is really worse then average by proportion

japan is really fair though i will say from watching a lot of japanese fights

They are marketing Benn really well. Sky commentators are bulling the guy up like he is the dogs bollox. Benn will be steered in the right directions for the foreseeable future avoiding anyone that can throw a punch. He isnt making any progress in terms of his learning, even though he is apparently sparring in the States. Benn is so wide open its criminal. He has no boxing thought process on how to defend and I think its purely his physical shape thats keeping him in fights.

Benn was absolutely knacked after 10 rounds last night and if the French guy could have sustained the pressure for 7 or 8 rounds Benn would have gassed out. The French guy was nothing special and was possibly on on par if not better than Benn in boxing skill, he was far more controlled but just didnt have the skill or punch power to stop Benn.

I'm not sure where Benn will go but im expecting a few more carefully picked opponents before stepping up to the 'dangerous' guys, if he makes it that far.

Kelly, Skeete, Corcoran, Nurse and Coyle all beat him, and that is just the British WW's, and just the British ones I've seen a few times.
I expect his career path will be guided away from the Londsdale for a wee while yet.

His entire team know that Benn isn't very good. It's all about making money. They know his level so expect a lot of poor opposition for a long time. They want to try and get him on every match room show.

Then in two years time try and get a payday. Problem is he's so poor there's many half decent welterweights that could beat him.

Benn is awful, just awful. Going to war with journeymen, so easy to hit. He gets stopped by the first legit area/English level guy he faces with any power.

It really does have me stumped ,why a promoter would put his dollars behind someone like Benn , fair enough the name helps , but Eddie epecielly, could promote a half decent fella with reasonable skills and make him a name , After all most have seen through the bollocks and now see the kid for what he is ,regards skill level

Benn looks as if he has watched a video of Deontay Wilder and tried to mimic his style.

What he doesn't realise is that Wilder gets away with technical flaws (some of which are borderline criminal) due to his speed and power.

which as long as their winning and champions or in top contention, well if thery can bring them together at say Jr Middleweight, the money would be great... thats also part of the thinking.

There is absolutely nothing fair nor reasonable about the words Conor Benn and the elite being put together in the same sentence, regardless of whether Conor Benn works on a few things or lots of things and does so relentlessly for the next century.

The mere suggestion is utterly ludicrous.

Conor isnt big enough at his own weight nevermind moving up a weight. One thing for sure though is that Chris Eubank Jr is leagues better than Benn, so its a foregone conclussion that the Eubank family would beat the Benn family 2-0
