No, I don't really see it as comparable in any way. Poor McCall had an actual breakdown in the ring, and I don't think it was in any way planned. On the flip-side, I highly doubt Harper ever really intended to fight last night.

I posted the vid seconds after it happened and same with the thread title... nobody knew it was a money issue when i posted it... For those who watched it live, it just looked like he had said NAW after the stare.

I still think it was foolish. Harper is no coward, and no stranger to being in tough fights with a superior opponent. He should have bitten the bullet and given it his best shot rather than tarnish his reputation in this way.

it's all speculation at this point. The only thing that isn't speculative is the oddness of it. It would have been much better for him to had taken a dive after having been hit by a grazing punch. Imo, he looks to have lost the battle with his fight or flight response. Sure, he had been in there before. And he probably had dealt with this issue before but was able to trudge through it. This man's size was too much and his flight response took over. A momentary lapse of reason that he is paying for in more ways than one.
Of course we don't like it. But I agree with seq... I feel a certain level of compassion for this guy. This has most likely cost him his career and reputation.
