The fact that Jenny chose to hide her feelings about the bizarre incident is irrelevant. She was in the media spotlight.

Imagine if you saw this happen to your daughter, your sister, your mother, your wife or some other female you were close to, with the incident happening in their workplace... and you were there?

So she’s conscientiously doing her job and some random stranger (a huge bloke), a person she doesn’t know, grabbed hold of her face and forcefully planted a kiss on her lips without her consent – how would you react in that scenario if you were in close proximity?

I’ll quote another example posted by one of the other forum members: “just imagine a gay man - with the size and presence of Pulev - deciding YOUR lips were so kissable he just couldn't help himself. Would you think that was acceptable at work?”

If that sort of thing doesn’t really bother you, then that’s just the way you feel. Others think that what Kubrat’s done is inappropriate. To each their own I guess.
i surely wouldn't like to resolve this incident in court

She is certainly more widely known now. Of course he shouldn't have done it; but he didn't shoot the sheriff either. He who is without sin...

A lot of people who joked that they were looking at her lips too wouldn't be happy if their wife or daughter was kissed like that at work because the guy just felt like it and was looking at her lips. So I basically agree with Enlightened One. Having said that this is not the crime of the century and a ban is way overblown.

I disagree with people who say this was perfectly acceptable and I disagree more with those that act as though Pulev bit off someone ear.

i don't think that it was perfectly acceptable but it's just her's and Pulev's case, people care too much about this kinds of incidents. If she don't like it and feels offended she can sue him, if she has no problem with this situation then there is no need to condemn Pulev

One of the major problems with the 21st century is everything has gotten so extreme. I can't believe some people would ban Pulev for life!

But another poster asked if it was your wife or daughter and that's a good way of looking at it.. We guys, including myself don't always do that.

Pulev would have bigger issues if it was my daughter as she's only 10. But if my daughter was 25 and got this kind of publicity, I'd merely go privately to Kubrat and ask for an apology. No need to air everything out in the open.

I don't know what her reaction is. It may be very reasonable. But I've read some stuff from the Me Too extremists that was counter rational IMO.

Imagine you’re accustomed to eating Filet mignon every day of the week, wouldn’t you be occasionally be tempted to eat something completely different as a one-off, such as a McDonald's Big Mac burger?

Even Gordon Ramsey frequents burger vans every once in a while.

In all seriousness, there has been a lot of outrage about England's black footballers being subjected to monkey noises and racist chanting from the host fans in Montenegro last night. Racism is something that is rightfully being stamped on and will hopefully one day be eradicated, but it's not like the UK is without sin and time was when what the Montenegro fans were doing was commonplace in England.

We have to remember that not every country is as multi-coloured (I was going to say ethnically diverse but that is probably inaccurate of the Balkans) and progress moves at different rates in different places, and is further along the road in some places than in others. They'll get there but it's unreasonable to expect all cultures to arrive simultaneously.

The same can be said of many things including religious tolerance, homosexuality, and attitudes to women 's rights.

I'm not advocating turning a blind-eye to what liberals in the west regard as unacceptable, but a bit of understanding and tolerance toward more traditional cultures and attitudes would not go amiss. Surely we should not be intolerant of intolerance.
I get what you’re saying - it’s not exactly crime of the century - and it isn’t.

I enjoy Filet mignon and also munching on McDonald's Big Mac burgers. I also enjoy staying over at five-star hotels, as well as sleeping in tents pitched in campsites. I enjoy driving expensive cars and also going on bike rides. I enjoy drinking champagne and also supping ice-cold beers on a red-hot sunny day.

Who said anything about a “downgrade”? Two ends of the spectrum can be equally enjoyable under the right circumstances!

She doesn't have to just sue him.

She could file a police report about the incident. I think a forceful kiss on the mouth constitutes a sexual battery.

It was demeaning to the woman. Pulev treated her as an object and displayed absolutely no respect for her as a professional reporter doing a job.

Here comes the american #metoo Gillette leg shaving Converse shoe wearing soyboy crowd!

Good work brother Pulev, you've instantaneously become one of the most famous heavyweights in the world! Go Bulgaria!

He was a friend of the reporter. She attended his post fight party.

If these girly boys had their way any time a guy impetuously kissed a girl he'd be sentenced to 40 years unless he had her notarized authorization countersigned by all 45 different American genders on the Board of Aproval!

Pulev should be forgiven. He is from Bulgaria and doesn't know that in America only gay people are allowed to kiss each other on TV.

Famous 1945 photo of sailor impetuously kissing a girl in a nurse's uniform in Times Square. He didn't even know her. He didn't have a signed countersigned and notarized consent form either.

It proves that - careful don't faint now! - Pulev isn't the first man in history that kissed a girl! And took a girl by surprise by kissing her! Shocking confession: I've done it myself!
