Yeah, but Fury has a height and reach advantage over everyone and works behind his jab, clinching and/or slipping more often than working up close. Ruiz doesn't have Fury's ability to lean on people at a low energy cost.

Ruiz was the first name that came to mind for me, so I'm not surprised. Like a few others, though, I felt that Miller had potential to push AJ into new territory to win. I think it would've been relatively one-sided, but I was keen to see it unfold.

Cooper had power, landed a big shot and didn't even win that Rd. I think Ruiz is durable. Not expecting a quick fight, just a completely one sided one. If you give Ruiz an advantage, I'd love to hear it.

He's no showed many times for mental issues. Obviously they didn't carry this check, but it's far more pressure.

Nerves are normal, pulling out late multiple times with mental issues is not.

Ruiz looks like he's just got out of the boozer, I don't see how he troubles Joshua, not got the power to keep him honest nor the skill to outbox him. Joshua should be ending this early.

I'd love Ruiz to spark him. Even a bum can land a lucky, picture-perfect KO punch.

Andy Ruiz Jr. has landed a dream world title shot at heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua on Saturday June 1 at Madison Square Garden in New York, live on DAZN in the US and on Sky Sports Box Office in the UK.

Ruiz (32-1 21 KOs) can become the first ever Mexican Heavyweight World champion when he meets AJ at the vaunted Manhattan boxing mecca and comes into the bout in fine form. The 29 year old recorded his 21st KO win on his 32 fight ledger when he forced the retirement of Alexander Dimitrenko after five rounds of their clash in Carson, California ten days ago.

The Californian-based Mexican is in his second World title tilt having pushed Joseph Parker to the limit for the WBO crown in the Kiwi’s Auckland hometown in December 2016, being edged out by the finest of margins via majority decision.

Ruiz has a golden opportunity to stop Joshua’s own quest to become the undisputed king dead in it’s tracks, and the challenger believes it is his destiny to stun Joshua and become Heavyweight World champion in the Big Apple.
