OD has never been the same since Taylor’s beat down - not sure he’s ever recovered from the demons.

Walsh is just underwhelming as I said before. He will labour to points losses when he steps up again. The posing and lack of activity makes him shit to watch. He's just one of these guys who will have an opponent hurt or vulnerable and do nothing. Hes also a bit limited himself

Ohara Davies reveals he broke his ribs in Miguel Vazquez fight

Davies: “Since that fight with Josh Taylor, people have said I’m a quitter. The ribs were broken in the third round and I kept telling myself: ‘Do not prove those people right. Prove them wrong.’

“The pain was pretty severe and it got worse and worse as the fight went on. Vazquez knew that and he was targeting the area. He kept on going downstairs to try and get me out of there but he couldn’t.

“When the scores were first read out I thought Vazquez should have won but having watched it back, I was landing the cleaner shots. He was busier but I was landing more cleanly.

“It was one of those fights that could have gone either way. Thankfully, this time it went my way and now we move on to bigger and better things.

“On paper, it’s my best win because he’s still only 32 and has ruled the world. In some ways, it was my worst win because it wasn’t the most exciting performance.

“I don’t want a long break like I’ve just had before I fight again. I’ll be back in the gym as quickly as I can and as soon as the rib is healed, I’ll be pushing for another fight.”

dont think taylor took much from him, this is how good hes always been. he arguably isnt even among taylors 5 toughest fights. baranchyk, postal, vasquez, and that mexican in the us were for sure tougher, then joubert and martin were around the same
