You take things too seriously if Eddeh bothers you that much
However you want to look at it, theres zero credibility to what he's doing at the moment on many levels.
Exactly. Eddie Hearn is only interested in one thing and that's Eddie Hearn's bank balance. Everything else is disingenuous spin designed to increase Eddie Hearn's bank balance.
And to think there are some who would to tell us that Eddie Hearn is good for boxing.
Bollocks. He's no better for boxing than just about every promoter who came before and probably after him.

nonsense !
Hearn is doing what he can to increase market share by breaking apart the US carve up that has dominated high level boxing for decades and the likes of arum et al dont like it .
I see a growing number of fighters moving to matchroom or linking up in some way , so if he or what he is doing has zero credibility then why would people inside the business choose to leave existing promoters for them.

Fighters move for the promise of more money and fair play to them. Nobody can blame them for that.
Which dazn and those buying substandard Matchroom ppv fights which are no better than previous non ppv fights are currently paying for.

Anyone with half a brain should have figured out Spong was on juice due to :
1) his c30+ kilo gain in fighting weight since he was 19
2) his closeness to the Dutch kickboxing/MMA guys
To sign him up to a drug tested fight was only going to lead to one thing !
This was my post from the current scene a few weeks ago

Usyk’s heavyweight debut against a cruiserweight ! Have to give Usyk a bit of leeway due to the injury , but let’s keep it real, Spong isn’t a naturally heavyweight.
He was fighting in 79kg fights when he was 21. So that tells you a bit about his natural size .
Draw your own conclusions about the weight gain.

I remember Witherspoon as an unbeaten fighter, he fought on a few Sky cards back in the day, I used to think he was decent funnily enough, it goes without saying he ended up being bang average, the guys he lost to were decent names but he's not got a single decent win, Usyk should do him in 3 rounds unless he takes a bit longer to put his foot down

I reckon he'll want rounds , not like he won't look good even if it went long .

Yeah he's a clever thinking fighter Usyk but there must be some frustration there

I give Chazz a bit of credit, he was the one to expose Seth Mitchell and back in the day (like 10 years ago lol) he wasn't that bad. I think he was national golden gloves champ as an amateur too. I wouldn't put it past him still kicking Spong's butt.
I just want to see Usyk in the ring again basically so I'm not really arsed at this point when it comes to who he faces

Funny enough, it says on Chazz's BoxRec bio that his current manager is Ken Norton.
Kenny doing a hell of a job working as a manager and landing Chazz this fight from the grave

Mags, it says Capella https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/284612
At least they broke Chazz out of cryo in March for a fight. You have to go back Ten Years to see his last semi relevant opponent, which was a loss to Thompson. At least Chazz is tall (ish)

Usyk is a slow starter. Takes his time, figures the other guy out. I laughed at the RBR for the Bellend fight. Folks were getting carried away with Tony winning the first 3, boxing out of his skin, he was
Usyk was just sussing him out.

I have Bellew the first 2, from the 3rd I had Usyk doing the job. Just because Bellew taunts in the ring doesn’t mean he wins the round lol.
I was just laughing at the Sky Commentators. The rounds Bellew won, it was of course 10-9, any round Usyk started winning it was 10-10.. that was basically Froch’s card.
Didn’t Usyk lose the first 3 rounds to Hunter aswell.

You seem to be ignoring the fact no one knew who the fvck he was so wouldn’t have noticed
