Would fancy BJS more at 160 than 168 - What you need is the BJS who boxed v Lemeiux to make it interesting.

If they’re holding out for more than Fielding got, it’s understandable especially given that Smith did Fielding very early.

Obviously Canelo not only holds all the cards but would be a big favourite over either... Yet what frustrates me is he’s like a modern day Sugar Ray Leonard, but his performances are closer to the SRL who came out of retirement after 3 1/2 years, with debatable decisions, fights marred by handicapping... and Canelo is in his prime. It says a lot about modern audiences that Canelo can be a superstar, when mostly he doesn’t fight like one. Feeling in boxing is obviously fighters want the career high payday to fight him, and don’t want to be raped in negotiations.

Canelo is usually a brilliant watch, he hurts people and is nice and aggressive most of the time. That’s a huge part of his popularity I think.

He’s very correct and I can see why a hardcore fight fan would like his balance and punch delivery.

He was sizzling versus Ryan Rhodes, Matthew Hatton and Rocky Fiedling. Did great work vs Golovkin 2 but many feel he didn’t win (I’m ok with the result). I don’t enjoy the frustrating fights, Jacobs, Lara (marred by weight stipulation) and Trout - although these are not the easiest guys to fight.

I do think he will look awesome if he settles into the right weight, which i believe is 168. His body shots I feel will be murderous even versus the top fighters.

Was very one paced at 175 vs Kovalev but I give him credit for getting the result & the big finish.

Yeah I do too.

It's all very well concentrating on his best performance Vs Lemieux, but he's had some absolute stinkers in the main.
