Pretty fascinating stuff although it was nothing i didn't already know, still no real proof to link Daniel Kinahan to these murders or how he's involved in drug trafficking, not saying he's innocent but a lot of hearsay

It reminded me a bit of supercrook John Palmer, aka "Goldfinger", and Roger Cook's efforts to nail him on The Cook Report. Years later, it all comes out even though at the time Palmer pleaded innocence. I recently read the book on him. There's obviously loads more that comes out eventually.

Wonder what the fall out of all this will be. Some awkward times for the board of control I would guess.

I’m the same as you on this - is he involved very likely but they have never made 1 single conviction/arrest against him - No.

He’s blamed for everything - Irish Police lay everything at his door like he’s the “El Chapo” of Ireland and runs this Cartel and not one single shred of evidence has ever been produced.

With equipment these days for listening/tracking etc.....and they can’t make one single thing stick ?

Either that he’s got his monies out and is now the legitimate businessman living off back of what he’s earned and doesn’t need to get his hands dirty anymore.

Barry’s been critical of MTK long before they took any of his fighters.

It’s long been rumoured the Kinahan’s are grasses. Almost every drug dealer or ally they have ends up behind bars yet they kept living the good life in Spain & now Dubai.

Lots of fighters defending them as they earn a bit more than they would with another promoter but it’s all drug & blood money & money laundering’s a serious offence. There’s no playing dumb if they get caught, everyone knows what’s happening it’s now been covered on BBC1 as well as by our national press.

Decent documentary but it didn’t tell us anything we didn’t know already except that apparently Fury v Joshua is signed sealed and delivered.

If it’s true that MTK boxers pay a lesser % for being managed than they would usually then that’s a good thing for boxing and boxers. Barry M was talking with his wallet.

If the K gang want to launder (or invest) their ill gotten gains into boxing and it means more $ for boxers and more big fights getting made then that’s good news.

“Boxing’s reputation is in pieces” was one of the closing lines. Not true. Using such a trite throwaway line does raise the question of whether the point of the show was to implicate Kinahan or was it just taking a free swing at a much easier target - boxing

Suppose it all depends on wether or not your with or without them ,, Your a fighter and start getting better paydays , and less fee's with them , its all good , if your not , well the moral hat will come on ,,, and lets be honest a large percentage of boxers come from areas where being a crim is the norm for a lot , he just happens to be better at it than your average thug

Kinihan is obviously a huge boxing fan. I doubt any of the alleged murders were anything to do with boxing.

Isn't there a law now whereby you may be asked to prove the provenance of your wealth or it will be confiscated?? It happened to a lady in London recently ...

TBH im not gonna pretend to feign outrage over the Kinahans involvement in boxing, if best fights get made then count me in, drugs are rife anyway, they may as well impact my life in a positive way but lets not pretend its an agenda against Daniel Kinahan,

Organised crime and sports have gone hand in hand for years, boxing, horse racing, dogs etc.

One of most telling lines seemed to be that Carl Frampton pays them no money to manage him whatsoever.
Now what boxing manager offers that type of deal? You have to ask why that is...

Barry came across very bitter last night....I have a business and people leave me for competitors, I teach them everything and they leave, its business, its life, it pisses me off yes but on that basis I dont go online and start slagging the competition off....no different scenario. If his fighters were happy then they wouldn't leave him, end off.

Sorry Barry but last night you may have made yourself look good to the casual fan by 'speaking out' but I think all the boxing fans now see your true side especially as we know what happened with Carl.

I'd bet my last shilling that Kinehan is touting for someone, if not multiple organisations. Intelligence agencies rather than coppers, and not Irish.
