Certainly he is stronger and would try to bully Kell. But Brook is slick and can be elusive... His facial bones are a worry, of course... And if he receives a lot of damage, Dominic Ingle could probably just pull him out... But yeah, I'll give the benefit of the doubt..

Sadly I think you’re talking about a version of Brook that no longer exists. He’s a shadow of what he used to be. In his fight with Crawford it seemed pretty clear that not only has he physically declined, he also seemed to be bearing the mental scars from the GGG and Spence fights - he seemed to be gun-shy and also flinching when he came under fire himself. Against a bigger, more aggressive and stronger fighter in the form of Eubank Jr that spells disaster IMO.

Certainly Kell's best days are behind him, I think that is beyond debate.

Agreed. I would also add that Crawford is among the best P4P, so he probably didn't give Kell a chance...

Yeah, you're very likely correct. As people have already mentioned, I think Brook vs Liam Smith is a much better bout for us to watch...

I will say I can't think of another fight that makes Kell more money.
For what it's worth I don't think Matchroom would put this on PPV.

This fight could be a solid contender for worse PPV main event since Haye - Harrison
I put money on Haye, round 3, then put all the winnings from that (quite a fair bit) on Manny decision against Margarito the same evening.
That's the only reason I wasn't totally fvcked off with myself for paying for it.

Eubank’s a fornicating disgrace, calling out a way past his best much smaller man.
Fair play to Frochy for downplaying the idea when Anna asked him his opinion of it

Eubank Jr should fight someone his own size. Senior never called out shot welterweights

I kinda think this is the fight and im sure kell would relish another sky PPV.
Id much rather see kell at 160 than at 147. 154 is probably the happy medium but there isnt much there for him.

If this fight does happen , let’s hope Hearn is not involved in any capacity the blokes becoming a leach , let Kell have his moment of glory , Hearn can’t help himself trying to worm his way in any way he can !

Hearn won’t be anywhere near this if it happens. It’ll be Sky PPV with Kalle, Shalom and Adam Smith all over it.

CEJ said lowest he can go is 158..
Kell saying 155 means he doesn’t really want it.
He’s naturally a big dude as well and he looked good against GGG.
I don’t think CEJ has weighed below 155 ever. Or even at that weight.
Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Kell Brook - Being Explored
Kell brook has connor benn begging to fight him. What bigger fish does eubank have lined up?
Its pretty close First offers are only 5 lb apart. Split the difference? 157.5lb?
What weight would Conor meet Brook at?
Has he said he’s I’ve up a bit for him?
If he fights Con, it would probably be on DAZN, I think Brook will want to stay on Sky PPV.
Would prob half kill brook at 147 honestly. But still its a last payday option. id much rather him fight eubank (or smith if he beats vargas). Point is eubank has been absolutly stagnating for the last 3 years, i dont think he has bigger fish to fry than brook.
I personally wanna see brook fight eubank even if its 160, although i think he should work hard to get a few lb off that.
at 160 Eubank is a big favorite, at 155 i think brook is actually a favourite. There is a weight somewhere between those where this is a 50-50 fight... Both are obviosly going to try get all the advantages they can, just hope they can find a middle ground (Eubank wont take it at a weight he isnt favorite at, just hopefully he dosent insisst on being the biggg favorite at 160.)

Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Kell Brook - Being Explored
Promoter Ben Shalom of BOXXER believes Kell Brook vs. Chris Eubank Jr. is a big pay-per-view fight.
He thinks the fight is very possible to make - if both boxers are realistic with the weight limit.
Last month, Brook returned to the ring at a catch-weight of 149-pounds and stopped career rival Amir Khan in six rounds.
He's willing to move up as high as 155-pounds for a fight with Eubank, who currently competes at the middleweight limit of 160-pounds.
"The fight is very realistic, but only if they are both realistic about the weight," Shalom told Sky Sports.
"Brook is happy to be realistic by coming up from 149-pounds to 154-pounds or 155-pounds. But Eubank Jr also has to be realistic. And that involves coming down to 155-pounds."
Nisse Sauerland of Wasserman Boxing, who promotes Eubank, says there is no way his boxer could squeeze down to 155.
"If you look at what Kell is saying, the five pounds to come up to 160, is not the be all and end all," Sauerland told Sky Sports.
"It sounds like a bit of an excuse. I think five pounds isn't the biggest of deals, but I'm sure there is a discussion to be had. But I can't see [Eubank] Junior going down to 155, unless he chops an arm off."
The rivalry between Brook and Eubank began in 2016.
Eubank was in serious discussions to face middleweight champion Gennadiy Golovkin - but they were unable to reach an agreement on the terms.
When Eubank fell out, he was quickly replaced by Brook - who moved up by two weight classes to take the fight. Brook was stopped in five rounds by the bigger man.
Before and after the fight, plenty of words were exchanged between Brook and Eubank.
