I've never had trouble getting tickets for any Warren promoted show: it's always Matchroom stuff that's a nightmare to get tickets for. It's also a tick-over fight for Joyce, so you would hope even if we're all socially distanced Fwank wouldn't charge mental money for this. Like someone else said, he's not exactly going to be there is he? A sold out show is better for his pathetic rivalry with Hearn than pricing anybody who'd consider attending out so that you end up with an empty hall.

Well... I guess it's "take my money, Mr. Warren" night for me.

Fair enough. There’s still that lingering doubt with him having been a year out that if Joyce wins by KO he won’t get the credit he deserves.

I have to give him credit I think Sam Jones is managing Joyce’s career bloody well. Does a lot of his talking for him which increases his value. You could argue he manages him but also does more promotion for him than all of his previous promoters.

He reminds me a little bit of that weasel faced bloke that used to promote Joseph Parker, another gentle giant who wasn't really all that good in front of the camera. I forget his name: he didn't make an appearance for Chisora. But you started off thinking "is this the best bloke he could get for the job?" and then came to realise he was there to be the "knobhead" that got his fighter noticed, but also was thick skinned enough to take the flak, and ultimately fans warmed to him. And in that documentary they showed after the Dubois-Joyce fight you could see Jones did actually care about his fighter, and was with the Joyce family during and after the fight.

Better than Fish Eyes, who wasn't even sitting next to him at the press conference. I like Takam as a fight. He presents issues, and Joyce had a hard night with Jennings, another smaller but capable fighter. I think it's a decent match up. It's last chance saloon for Takam, so he should come with ambition. It doesn't matter if it's another hard fight. Good. It should be. He needs hard fights to keep learning. I hope Takam gives him some rounds and some different puzzles to solve.
