Should of had a proper camp in the first place , he s world champ for god sake ,
In fairness he can't help covid, a chest infection and a knee injury
Covid ,, chest infection , knee injury ,, any of the above means POSTPONENT belts on the line here not fighting for Scottish youth team , its for the undisputed ,, so any of the above ,, all 3 of the above means DEFINETE POSTPONENT , so really its if you believe it
Ah dunno if folk picked up on his post fight comments, and how different they are to what he has been saying since..he said something like the fight was close, and he could have gone either way. But on his social media he has been telling everyone he won the fight, and even implying it was a comfortable win.

Not watched the doco , but alls i can say is in the past not once , not twice but perhaps dozens , no not dozens , but dozens and dozens of times , i've rang matchmakers promoters , and said sorry he's sick not fighting ,, This fight was for the undisputed if he went in sick , he needs to get his head read and fook off any trainer who allowed it ,, going into an undisputed champion of the world fight , the stuff dreams are made off , when your sick ,, either its totally unprofesional or total BOLLOCKS

It all impacted the weight cut but he obviously backed himself to win anyway. Happened plenty of times where a fighter has issues pre-fight but they back themselves to win regardless - look at Lomachenko vs Teofimo Lopez, Haye vs Bellew etc. If a fight got pulled every time a fighter had a problem fight week there'd be hardly any taking place. The Taylor documentary, filmed before the fight, shows the weight issues he had. He was sat in a hotel-room-turned-sauna wrapped in towels looking like Dot Cotton.

Would'nt be suprised if that was norm for him making weight , and your correct a lot of fighters have niggly issues going into fights ,, without getting in too a debate or too many technical issues , slight colds snotty noses are the most common , and you would'nt pull out for them , a trainer can quite often guague it has he's peaking ,, when you train hard and get your body in peak condition it can start to affect the body , when you reach the peak , you cannott sustain that peak for long and you cannot reach it every other fight usually just a few times a year its just known has peaking ,

So therfore pulling out is not what you would do in fact you would insist it goes on but thats opposed to actually being sick , if he was sick it should be postponed its dangerous and unprofesional to put in a sick fighter ,, but its also silly to pull out a peaking fighter because he shows snotty nose signs of peaking ,

A lot of fighters also pull out with excuses because they know there opponent will be peaking for the fight , and want to change the date knowing that there opponent will lose his peak and be flat 6 weeks after , its part of the game ,

Hope that explains why i'm saying he should of pulled out IF he was sick , because being sick its dangerous fighting and unprofesional .
