Re: Billy Joe Saunders *updates*
He could probably trash talk his way to another Eubank fight, other than that it's a leisure centre where you've reached the ring before the vocals have started on the ring walk song.

Billy laid into Sky quite heavily on instagram today. Doesn’t sound like they want him.

Saunders has confirmed he will be returning
Re: Billy Joe Saunders *updates*
I thought he was only going to come back if the fans demanded it...

Billy Joe Saunders Details Return Plans: “Time To Give The Public What They Want”
In a recent interview with IFL TV, the slick southpaw admitted he was taking preparations for his comeback bit by bit, but that he will definitely be back in the ring this year.
“We’re just in the gym at the minute ticking away and trying to get a bit of weight off. I’ll fight when I’m good and ready and in shape – definitely this year.
I’ve been out of the ring now for two years, so I’ve got to just take things slow as I’m not getting any younger, but I miss the sport.
It’d be nice to get back in there, there’s some big fights to be made so I’m looking forward to them.
I feel sorry for the fans, because they get robbed of big fights when fighters are in their primes. But for myself, I’m open to fighting anybody the public want to see. What the public call for is what they’ll get with me now.”

I would love to see billy joe in solid domestic matchups.
-yard/buatsi at 175
-Parker, richards, ryderII, Eubank jr at 168
-or if he ever got back in real shape.... Smith, Eubank jr or filix cash at 160....
Honestly every one of those fights i really really like. if BJS is disaplined he is a solid chance in either, if he isnt he gets chinned, either way id enjoy watching.

He'd get ruined at 175 - he's not even solid at 168 - Yarde would take his head off.gregregegg wrote: ↑22 May 2023, 06:02 I would love to see billy joe in solid domestic matchups.

Re: Billy Joe Saunders *updates*
There's plenty others like this went out of business, after spunking loads of money on shows, and then fighters leaving them as soon as they get somewhere, and want TV money.
If I had a load of spare cash to pursue a buisiness idea, boxing promotion's the last thing I'd do, good way of throwing good money after bad.
Re: Billy Joe Saunders *updates*
Exactly, it's like the old restaurant analogy: the fastest way to earn £1 mln in the restaurant business? Put £10 mln into the restaurant business.jamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑26 May 2023, 08:55There's plenty others like this went out of business, after spunking loads of money on shows, and then fighters leaving them as soon as they get somewhere, and want TV money.

You’d have to be mental to get into boxing promotions. It must only be to wash cash.
