Card looks solid. Unusual for boxing. None of the A-sides are below -650. That's usual for boxing.

Not worth 75$, though.

Tank did decent PPV numbers against Ryan Garcia. But other opponents the numbers have been truly embarrassing & SHOCKING. Frank Martin looks DRAINED like no tomorrow - Tank in 8.

Tank did them number against Garcia cus it was Garcia.

He was never getting passed 300k before that.

I can't believe this card was PPV. The Tank fight was good, but the rest was boring. I can't imagine this will sniff 300K. Tank is not a PPV fighter. He's a bigger draw than Crawford and Spence Jr., but he's no Canelo or Joshua.

Who is?

I consider Tank good value. The top three fights were very good, imo.

I like Martin. He is a good boxer. I hope he gets more exposure. Maybe Cruz wants sloppy seconds again.

I just hate that every fight is PPV. This should be reserved for big draws. I know it's not been so cut-and-dry anymore, but I'll rant any chance I get.

I think only Ryan Garcia is/was approaching that level. It was definitely more his drawing power than Tank's that drove those PPV buys.

:OhYes: Can’t argue with any of that. Tank is still building. Yeah, I don’t watch as much stuff live these days due to it all being POV.

As I said, another stiff to boost Tank's ko record. Nothing new. Now they would probably go for ancient Loma to boost the PPVs.

What legacy? Beating cherrypicked-much smaller, washed up or severely drained opponents?
What a broken record you are. Tank defeated Cruz. Get over it.

Martin, Cruz, Barrios, Santa Cruz, Rolando Romero, and Krusty The Clown Garcia are not “stiffs.” Gamboa was MUCH less a “stiff” when Tank defeated him in 2019 than when your heartthrob Cruz beat him in 2022 (after being defeated by Tank). Tank took Romero’s 0 two years prior to Cruz defeating him. Cruz seems to be the one on The Sloppy Seconds Tour.

Skippy Screed, you are.
 ballchinianbeard, deep in yourself, you know very well that those guys were a bunch of handpicked opponents. :OhYes: :TU:

Adames/Gausha was terrible and shows why fighters should be fighting for vacant belts instead of inheriting titles, the effort from both men was horrific as was their ability to change things up and go through the gears, Adames less worse id say and as for Gausha the serial loser I actually think he's scared of winning a world title, sure he's tough and durable but so is plenty journeymen, feed Adames to Alimkhanuly

lies. Tank did 225k with Leo Santa Cruz, he did 210k with barrios, 275k with rolly, and 220k with hector Garcia. Ryan didn’t have a PPV before he fought tank. Then we went and fought Oscar Duarte and it wasn’t even a PPV fight…. Yall are funny just lying on here 😂😂😂

So why did Showtime Boxing and HBO Boxing go under?

The PBC are nothing but a cancer to the sport of boxing.

The numbers you posted are BS numbers - There's a guy in the boxing industry who gets the REAL PPV NUMBERS.

It was decent fight.
Gervonta sure can finish I'll say that for him.
Martin gave him a few problems and might have even been ahead in the fight, but when Tank stepped it up the difference between them was clear.
I really wish he wouldn't do those backflips, it's not going to end well one of these days.

The talk of Tank fighting Loma must be BULLSH*T. If (And that's a BIG IF) Loma fights Tank insist on random PED testing. Tank looked a little too fast for my liking.

You watched that fight and your suspicions are that Tank is juiced because he “looked a little too fast?”

Did you even watch the fight?

Apparently, some sources say it pulled in between 325,000 and 350,000 pay-per-view buys..

Canelo Alvarez still holds the PPV thrown and is the Face of Boxing for now. Undisputed super middleweight champion Canelo’s fight on May 4th against Jaime Munguia, who is not a big name, brought in a reported 500,000 buys.
