is this definitely his full record? I know it's the Boxrec one, just looks a bit off with 2 fights in 2017 then nothing until 2020.

As he got older, Deakin's condition improved and he was eventually able to compete in amateur competitions, reaching the light welterweight semi-finals at the ABA Championships, and also take a silver medal at the Limassol Cup in Cyprus.

After a 76-fight amateur career, Deakin finally made his professional debut in 2006 – beating Shaun Walton on points at London's historic York Hall.

Dunno.
I read some years back him saying it didn't matter not having a deep Am career, but I can't recall how many fights were mentioned.

boxrec am listings are wildly incomplete for most fighters. it varies by country too. scandanavian fighters and irish fighters have more of their fights entered than brits for example

most results also come from national and international competitions, which naturally have a high level of competition

even without fully complete results though, the am records here make it clear that many fighters (or their promoters) lie about how many they lost in the ams

Hatton has ditched his uncle as trainer

If he wants to be successful he needs to do a Conor Benn & get on the juice not change fighter.
