well thats debatable .
Companies house tells a story of failed business ventures / liquidation / directorship resignations and the business he owns now is owned by creditors and has no revenue on its last filing .

He may have cash in Dubai or wherever else but in the UK he is worth diddly til that ugly wedding place turns in huge profits.
Companies House does not display his personal non company wealth. He is extremely wealthy.
true but IMHO for a guy who has made big money as a boxer and tv celebrity stuff he could and arguably should be well off .
Its all relative I guess a skint khan is still well off compared to most ordinary folks in the UK .
Very fair point. I think he'll make silly money in Misfits too

Personaly i hope he is dispite him being thick he does seem like a genuinly nice fella . For the record i think hes been a terrific boxer has well . Not elite but he dodged no one . Thers others who are on a pedestal who.s records would be a lot wose if they had took on the best around at there times .
I met him once at Horwich. Lovely to talk to really nice. And I agree he had some fights he could easily have dodged and hoarded a belt.

Great, great fighter. The Maidana fight made him imho.
However, others have made serious coin outs this guy. They should be ashamed.
Plus Amir has pissed +
Like the guy, I really do. Think he is easily led though.
Hope he does well in future. He deserves to be well, happy and healthy.

It’s all done and complete and he’s had a lot of bookings already. A few people I know have gone there too and said it’s the best wedding hall they’ve been too. So much money in Asian weddings too.

No idea why he’s selling up

Yep it's a bit of a shame, but fingers crossed he makes a decent profit from the sale after all this.

Probably doesn't want the aggro of running it day to day after it took so long to finish.

Aside from being a brilliant boxer, he's also a very funny guy. He ran rings around Kell Brook before the fight started, was hilarious

Having just Googled it, I've got to say.... That's the most Asian wedding venue I've ever seen.

He definitely won the pre-fight stuff. Can still remember him at the 04 Olympics. His dad was possibly the most patriotic man ever at that Olympics, he was ace.

Brook's ring entrance music was the best I've ever seen 'live' (as in live on telly).

The blotches on Khan’s back tho?

Cupping? Or something more sinister?
Now we

Yes, All Of The Lights, forgot what it was called. Great song especially with the piano piece.

I don't recall the blotches, I don't envisage that was anything sinister gear-wise. He popped for Enobosarm/Ostarine, a SARM which is popular in people trying to keep/gain muscle whilst cutting weight as it does not tend to cause water retention. I was never a fan, used it but it tended to exacerbate my back pain for some reason. I only concluded it was that as I was PED-free besides that and ended up reading up on it a lot and others anecdotally reported it. It's been around for 2 decades but only used heavily for the past 8 or so.

Sorry that it's negative posting from me mate (I bore myself with it tbh) but genuinely happy if it means you never use PEDS. If it is not your living or a dire need, nobody should use gear imo. Like I say a lot, just my opinion and experience but there is no cost-benefit analysis that I have ever seen that equates to PEDS being worthwhile. It is a cycle (literally and figuratively) that too many get on but too few get off. I'd guestimate a very large minority c.30% who box use in some way, shape or form. Larry Olubamiwo's testimony deserved more rigour and respect than it received.

Unfortunately it seems it'll be a loss. From what I read, Khan put in £10 million and a business partner put in £6 million.

Mixed reports also on the venue itself.

Best of luck to Khan. One of my all-time favourite UK boxers.

It may be the case but the location is awful. To recoup the investment within ten years they'd need to a wedding every week.

Plus I can't imagine a lot of people from Bolton having the cash to afford a luxurious wedding, it will be a minority. And people from outside Bolton will hardly be looking to come to Bolton to hold a wedding. Bolton is a complete hole. There are multiple venues which are heritage sites with beautiful scenery which are now cashing in on the Asian wedding phenomenon.

I do feel sorry for Khan. Intelligence is a spectrum so I won't call him names. But in terms of business acumen he really is lacking and this was an awful, awful investment. I just hope he gets some of his money back but I can't imagine many smart investors would want to buy this monstrosity unless it's at a fraction of the price.

He could have so easily just done a Froch and invested in several rental properties.

Its been said early his familly had a lot to do with his carreer , did they also advice him on money matters , and wanted it done more for there own prestige than anything else , Be a sham,e to see him lose a lot , but then again even at bargain basement prices he would still make enough to last him his lifetime , IF HE BACAME MORE FRUGAL with his money ,

Definitely, and I'm not pretending I might not be doing the same if I was benefitting from staying silent. Who knows.
