I heard him say it was only like a hard spa and the reason he fights is for the money, just hope he still has his marbles later in life to enjoy that money, so many fighters pay the price with CTE issues.
Promoters have the real power. If the top promoters think he should pack it in, what can he do realistically?
Yeah if all the top promoters stuck together of course but nothing to say he wouldn’t carry on fighting with another promoter or even move into something like BKB.

As long as someone is out there to give him a payday, then I think he'll stick around. He said as much in the post fight interviews.

Speaking to Sporting Talk, Bellew has now specifically expressed concern for fellow Brit Joe Joyce’s ability to stand up to big shots like he once did.

“He’s just an accident waiting to happen. I’m worried for Joe Joyce. I said it before it happened, I’m telling you now, its gonna fall, and when he gets done for the first time he’ll never be the same again. And I told anyone who would listen.

“It happened once and bang he’s gone and he can’t absorb it. When he fought Chisora, Chisora dropped him and he’s just an accident waiting to happen.”

Typical hypocritical ramblings from Bellend, who made his millions beating up a shot to bits injured broke old David Haye. If it wasn't for boxers who shouldn't ever fight again fighting on, he'd only be remembered for being banged out by Adonis Stevenson.

The tough thing is there is hardly a levle low engorge that he won’t take a lot of shots…

Think he needs to retire, going out on a win would be good. But unless he fights some guy called Greg he finds at the local bar, there’s not tons of options.

Whyte was the perfect option. Shot to bits.

I guess he could offer DDD or Parker a rematch get good cash and get flogged.

It's undeniable that he is different now than he was pre Zhang.
And if you catch him in an interview pre 2020 different again.
I don't want him to fight again, period.
He has been very entertaining and got a good range of achievements as a pro and amateur.
