Joe Louis gets this done inside 2 rounds.
I’m a fan of AJ, he’s achieved so much despite his limitations.
But the other guy is the greatest heavyweight of all time

We can theorize what is the ideal weight forever. I and others have said that 195 is not ideal. But if the rare fighter that size has proved he can do it, lets not pretend that he couldn't. And if there is ever a great heavyweight over 260, lets acknowledge that as well.
We are talking about Joe Louis. We know for a fact that Joe could beat guys way bigger than him. We don't have to theorize about anything. Why can't we just say that Joe Louis was special and would have beaten the crap out of someone that was nowhere near great like Anthony Joshua?
Just because someone isn't a great heavyweight in one era doesn't mean they couldn't achieve it in another era. What makes you think Roy Jones couldn't dominate at heavyweight in Louis era? Suppose there was no Louis why couldn't Jones dominate like Louis did?
How would Baer or Carnera lay a glove on him? They lost to much smaller men seemingly less talented than Jones

Size is overrated
Joshua has massive trouble with quick fisted opponents who can counter him
Louis had issues with slick counterpunchers
Joe beats joshua

On the flip roy jones speed would give joe louis fits and id give him a fair shot of beating the bomber

Jones might elude him for a while. But sooner or later Louis would catch him and it would be over immediately.

You should have posted around about 2017 when Kalan was around.
Around about that time, he had declared Joshua to be the greatest HW of all time, owing to the fact that he is tall and had 100% KO record.
Curiously, he disappeared around about the time that Joshua got poleaxed by a 'short' fat guy who took the fight at short notice.

Kalan was high on Anthony Joshua for real. He was to him the best next thing in boxing until he got clobbered by Andy Ruiz?

Still, I can't see someone like the great Joe Louis beating a giant like Anthony Joshua. Louis would be too small for today's heavyweights.

OK, now I am convinced.

The sad thing is, I was so desperate to know Kalan's take on how this modern, tall, monstrously powerful 250lb heavyweight ended up getting walloped by a short fat guy who took the fight on 6 weeks notice?

Lennox Lewis lost to guys around the level of Ruiz and is widely considered one of the best heavyweights of all time.
By that logic Lewis doesn't stand a chance against Louis either

15 or so. What does that have to do with Lewis losing to Rahman?
