Hope they keep him busy for the next few years. No rush he is just a kid.
Just would love to see him develop fully before being thrown to the wolves

Matchrooms promotion for Atangs US debut is class.
Decent enough lad to talk to. Fighting in Miami next isn't he.
Very approachable young man who at the moment seems very level headed and grounded.
Hope that continues as he's the next generation of UK heavyweight prospect

Modern fighters, especially heavyweights, especially British heavyweights, seem to change trainers very often. I wonder if there’s some ‘business advisor' infolved

To be fair Itauma is still in the infancy of his career, we’ll see how he bounces back. I’m not that convinced Atang is gonna be the next big thing. Not sure why. Intuitively there seems something missing.

leo and moses final level are still very much uncertain, although if i had to pick id say moses will still go further

Can't see Atang being rushed into any big fights now

Nobody should ever be rushed to the top without checking a few key boxes first. Going some rounds against a not particularly dangerous opponent is key for sure. I felt like that would've been obvious before Itauma's loss, but Itauma's loss makes clear why it's necessary.

I've felt Atang's the most promising young heavy for a while, but talent's the half of it. I won't be surprised if he falls out of love with boxing.
On the other hand he might lose and hate it so much it lights a fire under him. Seems a bit too placid at the minute, like a British Anderson.

No, it's his life. He lost the European final and trained twice as hard for the following year. He's a very well brought up, polite kid. You won't see him mouthing off.

Based on what I have seen Moses would stop atang in a couple of rounds. And his ceiling is wayyy higher. But that based on a few Leo fights vs some top 1000 guys…

For me I think Adam Olaniyan is the superior prospect. Difficult to say at this early stage but I like his accuracy and speed.
