Anyone fancy Diaz to upset Pac

Only fighter who beats Pacquiao in this devision is Juan Manuel Marquez... the only other fighter I give a chance of beating Pacquiao is Khan - but its pretty remote. He might have the strength and speed and workrate to worry Pacquaio - but you would have to say Pacquaio by KO is the likely outcome.

The guy is like a Rock - I disagreed with Bunce who said something like Mayweather didn't fight as perfect a fight Pac Man last night... Pac Man is not in any P4P top ten defences - but with a chin like him (I think a contender for P4P #1 chin), the strength like him, the work rate like him, the speed like him, the power like him, the accuracy like him - he's pretty damn special and truly deserving of the #1 P4P fighter.

So,you think Khan can beat Guzman?

Remember Guzman is up at Lightweight now and weighs in as heavy at 10st 7lbs when he was a Superfeather.

Guzman has the best chance against Pacman. I an not convinced about Pacman full stop.

No, I don't.... styles makes fight and I think speed affects Pacquiao. Marquez (who has twice beaten him IMO) beat Pacquiao to the punch. For me the only other fighter at Lightweight who could beat Pacquaio to the punch is Khan.

If Khan wasn't so chinny (or at least it appears that way) then I think he could beat the lot. He would start a massive underdog vs Pacquaio - but I think he has the tools to give him the most problems.

Ultimately I think Guzman and Pacquiao KO Khan, but I think Khan's superior speed over Guzman, and superior workrate make him a tougher prospect for Pacquaio than Guzman.

I was one who feels Manny is going to go, sooner rather than later.

However I didn't believe Diaz would be the one to do it - Manny showed how a fighter should be taking care of business against a lesser fighter, something Khan needs to take some notice of.

Looks like I would have had to get the full undercard from America anyway, then.

I was gutted when I woke up - thought I'd missed loads of good coverage. Caught the Pac replay - good performance, etc - thankfully they showed all 9 rds of it.

Setanta really do need to do something about their timing. They need a bit of a lesson from Sky Sports in efficiency. If nothing else, Sky bring us some pretty thorough undercard action.

Yes, although I have noticed with Sky recently - they often show different fights on their repeat show. Quite frustrating when you don't go to bed on the live show and have a lie in on the Sunday.

He isn't losing power, he is hitting bigger men with better punch resistance.

He absolutely wrecked Diaz in there, that last left hook was pretty devastating considering how far up the weights he's gone.

Diaz was catered for pacman looking like superman; diaz was super slow and just 1 dimensional.
I do see Khan giving pac trouble, remember khan has quick hand speed, and work rate is quite good, but what if pac lands a strike at khan? lol

But all in all, pac showed up last night , and was excellent!

I just don't think he looks to have as much stamina/spring as he did 4 years ago. The power is the last thing to go BUT his power at 135 isn't all that he had to backfoot fight against Diaz for the first part of the fight.

He looks less explosive, yes. But as James says, he's hitting bigger, stronger men. And do you not think there was an element of taking his time, waiting for the Knockout to come against Diaz? I felt he judged it beautifully. No need to race in and shoot your load trying to get the guy out . Not when you can control the fight, hurt your opponent every round, and then close the show in such style, without trying to force the finish.

Diaz may not be an elite fighter. But he's better than Pacquaio made him look on Saturday.

I dunno, Khan hasn't got the timing that Guzman and Marquez have, or the sense of range for that matter. Whilst Khan has all the speed in the world I think he still has a lot more grounding to do before he can give a fighter like Pacquiao too many problems.

Diaz was made to look far worse than he is, Manny was on fire. Please let him try and clean up lightweight, we would have some classics on our hands with Juan Diaz, Campbell, Casamayor, Katsides, Guzman, Marquez, Pacquiao and the younger guys coming through. I would actually love to see Khan move over to the states and start getting ready to face these guys
