Agreed, but he has been known to repeatedly criticise fighters for boxing and running, as per his "slay the king" comments about Tyson Fury.

Also, fight fans criticise fighters for boxing and moving (claiming that fighting style is "boring and cowardly"), but yet many of the same people also applaud AJ’s tactics for the Ruiz Jr. rematch.

The hypocrisy and the application of double-standards are things that should not be ignored.
Eddie Hearn always calls Fury's boxng style boring.. Now we have seen AJ box like a 'poor mans Fury' < (Davison's words).. He's done it twice tbh.

The difference is that AJ has not made a habit out of this style. When you fight a guy who takes all your best shots and keeps coming forward, what are you supposed to do? Had AJ fought differently than he did he would have been stupid. Now if he fights every fight like this, then there's an issue.

Right. He's had one fight boxing and moving and some people are crying about it. Wlad made half a career out of fighting 10x uglier than that, and he was rightly criticised.

Even if AJ spends the rest of his career fighting this style, which he won't, at least it will be a clean style showing some variety and movement, rather than robotic Mr jab, grab and paw with two punches in his arsenal.

AJ would actually turn and make pivots when Andy got near him or near the ropes, Wlad would just make out with his opponents in that situation. AJ can actually fight on the inside too btw, something Wlad couldn't do. AJ has done quite a lot of good inside work yet he's already now being labelled as some jab and run bore lol

His uppercut is also lethal, the uppercut that set up the left hook in the first Ruiz fight was superb, ditto the one that almost decapitated Whyte. Wlad didn't know what an uppercut was.

Ya took Wlad's head off with an uppercut and KTFO Whyte with it too, also dropped Takam and Ruiz with short left hooks. He is no jab, hold, jab, hold, jab, straight right, hold merchant.

Where do people get off with these bizarre assertions? Nobody has called him Sugar Ray Robinson.

What have I said that suggests I've been comparing him to Robinson?

I said he had a superb uppercut, and that he had a clean style showing variety and movement.

Right. I'm capable of complimenting a fighter without placing them in the calibre of the greatest ever.

 I have said many times that DW is the least skilled out of the top three guys. His game is athleticism and KO's. Improvement in those areas you seem obsessed about to repost constantly, can be seen, but it doesn't make him Ali. Or even Pulev in that regard. Wilder has a LOT of room for improvement in the skills area, not even sure if it'll ever get to the point where he can win a decision over a really good HW. He'll just have to continue to look for the kO. Oh well...

Waits, waits, waits, GIANT WINDMILLING RIGHT HAND!!! Waits, waits, waits.

Vs

Jab, movement, big uppercut, right cross, left hook, combinations, good footwork, timing.

Yeah, way better.

The more I think about this the more I favour AJ to get it done while Wilder is in pondering mode.
