I want to be there for that. I want to be the commentary man for that fight. That’s a fight I do not want to miss. Both good fighters. Joe’s a big strong unit, Juggernaut, get in the way he’ll run you over. Daniel’s big and strong and youthful, fresh. They’re both good fighters and it’ll come down to who wants it more on the night. They’re both capable of winning, they’re both capable of pulling victories out and they’re both capable of knocking the other person out. It’s a fight you don’t want to miss. Watch it live and exclusive on BT Sport.
Sounds like a promoter.. Like a press release. Basically selling the fight.Counter-puncher wrote: ↑27 Nov 2020, 12:36Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑27 Nov 2020, 11:49

you've perfectly summed up my thoughts on the fightCoco wrote: ↑27 Nov 2020, 13:09 If I was a betting man I would go with the things I know, with JJ for sure he has got chin, stamina, is very strong and hits hard enough, he is not short of skill or experience either.
With DD there are too many unknowns, esp when it comes to chin and stamina, he may have everything but we will never know untill he meets someone capable of taking him into deep water.
Dubois went 12 rounds with Kevin Johnson but Kevin didn't really trhow much back. Maybe 3 shots per round.Coco wrote: ↑27 Nov 2020, 13:09 If I was a betting man I would go with the things I know, with JJ for sure he has got chin, stamina, is very strong and hits hard enough, he is not short of skill or experience either.

Even if he blasted JJ all those questions would still remain, many though Gorman would be capable of testing him but DD only proved once again that he is a brutal finisher.
Nevertheless FW wouldn't be sticking him unless he was double confident.
You may well be right but it's guess work, a chin checker from Lartey and being taken through your paces by Kingpin are hardly ways to gauge chin and stamina.mustlogin wrote: ↑27 Nov 2020, 13:57Dubois went 12 rounds with Kevin Johnson but Kevin didn't really trhow much back. He took clean shots from Lartey and only took one step back to recompose. I think his chin and stamina will hold if there is trouble. And Joyce almost lost to Jennings. I can't see Joyce winning this.
I had Joyce down on the cards to Jennings (I think I had Jennings up by a couple of rounds).mickey1975 wrote: ↑27 Nov 2020, 14:45 The thing is, Joyce never nearly lost at all, neither did DDD. What do some of you lads watch?
He got caught in the first round by a body shot and leant on Jennings for a few seconds to recover. I think that’s what’s being referred to.joshj909 wrote: ↑27 Nov 2020, 14:56I had Joyce down on the cards to Jennings (I think I had Jennings up by a couple of rounds).mickey1975 wrote: ↑27 Nov 2020, 14:45 The thing is, Joyce never nearly lost at all, neither did DDD. I don't remember thinking a body shot was going to get him out of there though, my memory might be failing me though. Has anyone got a clip of that?
Are you Terry O'Connor?joshj909 wrote: ↑27 Nov 2020, 14:56I had Joyce down on the cards to Jennings (I think I had Jennings up by a couple of rounds).mickey1975 wrote: ↑27 Nov 2020, 14:45 The thing is, Joyce never nearly lost at all, neither did DDD. What do some of you lads watch?

The entire fight is available on offficial youtube channel. The only way to win for Joyce is to have iron chin and win by late ko.joshj909 wrote: ↑27 Nov 2020, 14:56I had Joyce down on the cards to Jennings (I think I had Jennings up by a couple of rounds).mickey1975 wrote: ↑27 Nov 2020, 14:45 The thing is, Joyce never nearly lost at all, neither did DDD. Just rewatched the first round on the link shared below. Fair enough, did look in a bit of danger following that, I stand corrected.ShadrachSimmo wrote: ↑27 Nov 2020, 15:03He got caught in the first round by a body shot and leant on Jennings for a few seconds to recover. I definitely wasn't the only one who thought the scorecard was bad for that one.Coco wrote: ↑27 Nov 2020, 15:19Are you Terry O'Connor?joshj909 wrote: ↑27 Nov 2020, 14:56I had Joyce down on the cards to Jennings (I think I had Jennings up by a couple of rounds).mickey1975 wrote: ↑27 Nov 2020, 14:45 The thing is, Joyce never nearly lost at all, neither did DDD. Did Joyce's dad knock you out?
