I agree with some of the lads. I think DK is a genuine boxing man. Ok, he might be a bit dubious in other areas of his life...... But if I go in a pub and a local drug dealer, ex con, buys me a pint, I don't bang on about it to him whilst I drink it.

If I was a boxer struggling on a ticket deal I’d sign with him too. You’d have to be a mug not to , and I agree most of the non criminal promoters / managers are still unscrupulous sharks.

Josh Taylor deletes tweet praising advisor after £3.8m drug gang appeal

World champion Scottish boxer Josh Taylor has deleted a social media post praising the alleged boss of an international drug cartel after a £3.8m bounty was issued for his arrest.

Daniel Kinahan is wanted by US authorities for allegedly sourcing large quantities of cocaine from South America, playing “an integral part” in organizing the supply of drugs in Ireland, and attempting to facilitate the import of cocaine into the UK.

In a statement published on social media following accusations that Mr Kinahan is the leader of the Kinahan Organised Crime Group last year, Taylor said his advisor had “done nothing but good things for me in my life”.

“So hard not to go into depth about it all but I can honestly say hand on heart Daniel has and will continue to do nothing but good for the sport of boxing,” Taylor wrote.

In a since-deleted tweet, Taylor wrote of Kinahan: “He’s a great advisor and doing great things for the sport.

“I would never have had the deal with With (sic) Top Rank if it wasn’t for Daniel and he is also working on the best deal possible for the biggest fight of my life.

“I’ve had nothing but great experiences with him.”

It’s likely all true.

Come on, Mick, you're far from naïve. You know as well as I do that if somebody involved offers you anything, and they are not family or a friend since childhood, you are best to politely but firmly say "no thank you" unless you want to get involved or risk a favour, or being used down the line.

Let's get it right I'd much rather Kinahan wasnt involved in boxing, there's enough dodgy characters involved and controversy surrounding the sport without his mess but I'd be lying if I said it overly bothered me, he doesn't seem to be bleeding the sport dry like some of these other crooks, the likes of Sulaiman and Mendoza infuriate me much more, if his impact on the actual sport of boxing was as negative as the other sh1t then it would be bother me

Drugs are bad I suppose but I've been know to have the occasional line so I'm not gonna get all high and mighty there, the murders and whatever else are a lot more serious of course but I'm not gonna feign outrage or claim it overly bothers me,

As I say I'd rather he wasn't involved and he deserves what comes his way but I've got better things to worry about, for instance if Daniel Kinihan was the only person who could make Crawford/Spence or Fury/Joshua then....

Facts are if your a struggling fighter , trying to train ,get fights and hold down a job to make ends meet , If this fella liked your style , your haircut or the color of ya shorts , and jusdt a phone call could get you higher profile well paid fights , and open doors that had continually been slammed in your face , i think the only thinng most would say to him is

Innocence untill proven guilty is one thing and its important for court proceedings but isnt always necessary for opinions. Are people actually pretending its a maybe? They arnt hiding it, fuking check the name of there Gang/cartel....

They're at that size where you dont hide it, you boast about it for security, Someone kills one of yours, your kill 10 of theirs, and then noone fuks with any of yours again...

police and 'the authorities' put out wanted/rewards for info sh!t all the time. i dont know that foriegn police can just go into another country and arrest someone either, bit more complicated when you have to deal internationally

in no way though does this annoucment suggest they have nothing concrete on them.. similar announcements have been made for people who publically admitted to acts of terrorism and are widely known to have organized them for example

id suggest that with money like this offered and the effort they've gone to, they have a lot on the kinahans and are thus extra motivated to haul them in

Sam Jones would I think. He was managing boxers through S-Jam before getting involved with Probellum. I don’t think DK had anything to do with S-Jam.
