They started off working with Haye on his comeback fights I think. I certainly remember Moralee being on the top table with him at the press conferences. Haye had links to Joyce which is probably where that deal came from.high tower 1 wrote: ↑14 Apr 2022, 02:23 Maybe he was some
Shit blagger before and DK thought he could secretly launder some money through him. He was a 20 something car salesman from derby who came out of nowhere and got Joyce. I know boxers can be pretty dumb but that was a strange choice.
Great friends with politicians too. Allegedly served them up young lads.

It's a big difference there between going after innocent people and having it happen by mistake. It's still terrible and that is where public opinion shifts and authorities start getting involved but the fact is that innocent people dying is bad for business and the worst case scenario for people involved. I think a lot of these guys dealing drugs are probably very nice respectful guys if you got to know them. It's just a business and it makes good money. Obviously some of them will be big ego types who are bullies. But some of them think of it like businessmen. They are not psychopaths like the lads who go out murdering innocent people for a thrill. I'm just speaking generally here and if you look at the history of the mobs in the US and things like that, you can find guys who just thought of it like a business.a force wrote: ↑14 Apr 2022, 05:41 I don’t blame fighters for signing with MTK, it’s a tough sport to earn a living in especially for them at area / British level.
I do blame every single one of them for posting photos with him or tweets saying how great he is. It’s sick. They all know what he is. Especially the high profile ones. They can’t play dumb as whenever they posted about him they had loads of replies condemning him.
The US have put him in the same category as some of the most infamous cartel’s in the world.
He had a bloke shot dead in Majorca in front of his wife & kids because they thought he was a Hutch relative.
They had a homeless man shot dead in Dublin because they thought he was a Hutch relative.
While all the Hutches involved in crime were in hiding they were having innocent relatives & friends shot dead. He’s evil. And anyone praising him should be out of the sport. Take their licenses off them.
Edwards, Davison, Jones, Fury, Taylor, Catterall, Saunders, Paul & Liam Smith. Whoever it is. Ban them for a spell.
No it didn’t. It came off the back off Barry making loads from Snooker’s boom period in the 70s and 80s.TheLeprechaun wrote: ↑14 Apr 2022, 10:36 You can't blame boxers for maximizing their earnings during a very short and risky career. Look at the size of Eddie Hearns house. That came off the back of fighters like Eubank going through wars.
Barry bought the property back in 1982 off his snooker earnings presumably, but the extensive renovations were probably boxing money.maverick23 wrote: ↑14 Apr 2022, 11:28No it didn’t. Barry’s said in the past that he didn’t make much money from boxing - just had some fun with it. He made his money from snooker and more recently (last 20 years) darts.polecateddy wrote: ↑14 Apr 2022, 12:39Barry bought the property back in 1982 off his snooker earnings presumably, but the extensive renovations were probably boxing money.maverick23 wrote: ↑14 Apr 2022, 11:28No it didn’t. Doesn't surprise me the boxing media in the UK have been pretty gutless in questioning Kinahan's links to fighters and MTK. Now that the Irish Escobar is in the US government's sights maybe they'll all suddenly find their balls and actually confront the issue.
And do you believe that? Every old school villain pretends to hate drugs. They all do it.GreenLightning wrote: ↑15 Apr 2022, 16:59 Gerry Hutch and his ilk are hoods but Gerry refused to get involved in drugs, unfortunately for him that mean Kinahans had all the money to hire the Wilson's and INLA etc. to carry out hits
Kinahans had enough drug money to hire thugs directly in jails
I believe Gerry was ODC in terms of his money making because the money he had matches up to it, if he was into dealing he'd be a far richer man andmore of his relatives would be alivemickey1975 wrote: ↑15 Apr 2022, 17:01And do you believe that?
