That's what I was thinking. He was also claiming an illegal punch for the knockdown in the last fight. He seems to miss a lot of what's going on.
You remember when Josh Taylor stopped that Thai kid in the first round with a really short hook to the body ? Rawlings didn’t have a clue what had happened, he virtually said the kid had taken a dive until he’d seen umpteen replays and his co comm had put him right.

I think Helenius just shook him very early on to remind him who had the power in there and it shut him right down. His left eye shutting early really didn't help either.

Fair enough, but Helenius is (for all his faults) an absolutely huge puncher, and maybe Kownacki was intimidated from early on, having already been badly stopped in their first fight.

Yea I know. Still no garentee he is top 10, although looking 2014 ring ratings wow it was thin.

Agreed, he needed to be pulled out rounds prior to the finish. Helenius all wrong for him, was a battering.

Yeh. It was one of them where you feel for the loser. His pre fight excuses aside. There was no quit in him.
It’s what he wanted in that first fight. Go out on his back and he did this time.
Scott said he broke his knuckle or hand during the fight, but most go through that. Wasn’t making excuses though.

I can imagine old Smooth fearing the worst before the fight then getting excited by round 4. Still never mind eh?
Fury was a bit rusty and sloppy at times but did the business, Wilder showed some heart, I'll give him that but was a bitter loser again.
Hopefully after Usyk beats Joshua again, the Usyk unification fight with Fury can happen. Fury will need to up his game to deal with this tricky blighter though.
Sanchez on the undercard was quite impressive, good hand speed and movement, one to keep a look out for in the future unless he does a Solis style ballooning up.
