Not correct. AJ signed to fight Fury and Fury fought Wilder for the third time. AJ-Wilder was agreed, but Wilder lost to Parker and the 86'd the fight. Neither of those were AJ's fault.

This is all Hearn not wanting to bow to Dana White and have this staged in America. He doesn't want egg on his face after saying he was nothing to do with it. Hearn has cried in the past about certain promoters not wanting him present when one of his fighters is on their card. He's doing the exact same shit here.. I've no doubt Joshua wants the fight but his loyalty to Hearn is fornicating him over here.

We’re roughly ten weeks from the proposed Fury–Joshua fight-date (21st November at Wembley Stadium), but the terms originally agreed no longer appear to match the event the organisers are currently trying to stage.

Fury and Joshua originally signed to fight in the UK, with Hearn saying the contracts excluded promotional involvement from TKO and Zuffa.

The organisers(i.e. Turki Alalshikh) subsequently pushed for Madison Square Garden in New York on the 20th November, with Netflix, and TKO/Zuffa involved in those plans.

The new requirement materially changes the terms of the original deal. Moving the fight to America affects Joshua financially, including his tax position, while the proposed involvement of TKO/Zuffa also conflicts with terms Hearn says were contained in the original contracts.

As a result, Matchroom sought revised financial terms and other concessions before agreeing to the New York proposal.

Fury’s side has already accepted the revised arrangements (resulting in the revised contracts being signed), but Joshua and Matchroom have not agreed to the proposed New York terms.

In other words, the original UK fight was signed, but the substantially different version now being proposed has not been agreed by Eddie Hearn and Anthony Joshua.

It's different, but it reminds me of things like....... Triller paying over the odds for the Teo Lopez vs George Kambosos purse bid and ended up having to forfeit the $1,200,000 deposit. Tyson paying Lewis to over $4,000,000 to step aside, even though Tyson vacated the title. And who can forget the Fres Oquendo/WBA situation, which dragged on for years.

If Aj digs his heals in, this could get really messy. But money talks, so I'm sure they'll find a way.

ANTHONY JOSHUA 'TICKING OVER' WITH BEN DAVISON, AWAITS TYSON FURY NEWS

Anthony Joshua is back training in Ben Davison's Essex gym as he awaits an end to the Tyson Fury contract saga.

The 36-year-old officially parted ways with Davison following his crushing Wembley Stadium defeat to Daniel Dubois in September 2024.

Joshua has since been training in Spain alongside Oleksandr Usyk and his team for the victories over Jake Paul and Kristian Prenga over the past nine months.

He is now hoping to finally secure a fight against Fury with a date in November earmarked for them to clash. However, there has been a tortuous hold-up due to a discrepancy in their fight contracts.

Joshua’s deal stipulates that the fight must take place in the UK while Fury’s has no such clause. As such, a proposed showdown in Madison Square Garden, New York, earmarked for November 20, could not be finalized.

Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn has since sent an addendum to that initial contract but Fury has publicly declared that he is now seeking a different opponent as he believes the fight is off.

Meanwhile, Joshua is still keeping himself in fighting shape and has linked back up with Davison to do so.

The pair have remained on good terms since officially going their separate ways and kept in touch over the past two years. A source told The Ring that Joshua wanted to keep ticking over in familiar surroundings so asked Davison for his help.

A picture posted by Frazer Clarke on Monday, of him alongside Joshua and another Davison heavyweight, Jeamie TKV, confirmed the short term switch, although it is understood that there are currently no plans to move back full time once his next fight is announced.
