Cunningham has just been dethroned by Yoan Pablo Hernandez in Split a technical decision. The Cruiserweight division is in real good shape.

F**K what next?
Greens NOT even in the same class as Dawson,Pascal,Taylor,Johnson.
Roy jones jr was way past his prime n just lookin 4 a payday. Any CruiserWeight in Australia would KO jones atm. But da Green Bean bag thought everyone else is knockin him out, Maybe i should 2...Just 2 make a name 4 himself
Then Green thought i mite pick on Tarver & knock him out 2, but sure did pick the wrong guy with Tarver, The very same Tarver that in my opinion is also past his prime BUT still gave him an Ass Whoopin.

Yes, Green was no longer able to make 168lb without severely weakening himself, which affected his performance. Mundine was great, and likely would have beaten the SMW Green who beat Eric Lucas, but it would have been a much more competitive fight.
Any Cruiserweight in Australia would KO Jones? After he just went 10 rounds with world top 5 cruiserweight Denis Lebedev and was leading on one card before being stopped? Jones is undoubtedly shot, but after the whipping he had just given Jeff Lacy, he was a deserving favourite against Green.
At 42, Tarver is surely past his prime, but was very formidable in stopping Green. I personally think he is better suited to cruiserweight than light heavyweight and possibly should have fought his whole career at 190-200lb.

after watching green v tarver for third time it was more competitive than I first thought, green actualy landed a few decent shots , mainly short ones from the inside. I first thought that tarver was only wobbled twice but there were about five times that he seemed to feel some pain. to tarvers credit he stayed composed and made green box hard to land anything. was it just me or did green look more gased than ever before? when he was backing up on the ropes and trying to counter was it becaused he was exhausted or because he had a little bit of sucess there even though hyder was telling him to come forward? personaly I dont think green had the stamina to keep the pressure on. even in rounds 7 8 and 9 he didnt seem to capitalize on any sucess he had. every time the ref said break he seemed thankful for the rest rather than eager to get back in there which is unlike any version of green ive ever seen. I think team green were expecting, tarver to gas due to his age but tarver comming down in weight and green going up seemed to have the opposite effect and I,think tarver expected it to happen. keeping in mind that green was pretty crook in january and lost about 12 kilos so im guessing he went as low 74kg if he was 86kg for flores and,the to be 90 by july is big freaking jump. green said his surgery had no effect but some 16kg jump in about seven months is huge and cant be good for you. hopefully by november green will have been around 90kg or a bit under for a while longer and maybe, grown into it a little better and knocks out the pole withing 5 rounds.

Watch it a few more times and you should be able to tell yourself Green won
The reason you didn't think it was competitive the first time was largely due to the fact that Tarver dominated, watching it over and over will not change that.

I think its pretty obvious tarver dominated. I just said green landed more times than I though he did when I first watched the fight.

Yeah because Green will be 53 when Mundine's 50, nice evaluation funny man, you realize Green is 39 hey, or are you just lacking a bit of factual information in what you seem to think is informative information.
If i was asked who has the better resume, or who has beaten or fought the better opponents, it go's to Green, for all your efforts of reminding people who won the fight, you forget to mention that your Hero Mundine has only ever beaten a champion once and that is highly debateable on two points, one is that it was the IBO title, which still doesnt have unanimous consensus that it's a world title, and two, more people than not agree Geale won that fight, even the Orginasation believes the fight was SUSPECT, and ordered a rematch, when your boy had a chance to silence everyone he elected to vacate and fight another stablemate of Geales to fulfill his contract obligations of a rematch.
Yeah you chose the right guy to support he's full of intestinal fortitude

B.J. Flores was unbeaten and had won an IBF elimination fight against Darnell Wilson when Green beat him. Two fights after Flores beat him Wilson got a shot
at Firat Aslan's WBA title. Green was the first title holder to give Flores a shot.

Well look what Geale did after Mundine beat. I think the Mundine fight really brought Geale on and made him a much better fighter.

BJ maybe he had a good record because he was just a built up fighter, and the money Green gave him was his biggest pay day, even more money than he'd get fighting for a world title a proper one that is.

How can anyone say Green is better Mundine when Mundine beat him, than there is the argument that Green has beat the better fighters since, well no way is BJ Flores better than Geale.

Lets not compare Mundine or to Pacman, well But Mundine is a better fighter than Green because he beat him, & Green Was lucky to win a round also when you look at both fighters whole career, Mundine has fought and beat better fighters simple.

Built up? 1997 Light Heavyweight National Golden Gloves and twice United States amateur champion who has beaten heavyweights as a professional. Really?

Name one name on his record beside green who is well known. Good fighter but not the same level as geale. Look at the guy he fought on the weekend he was 43 and had not even had 20 fights. I trained in the same gym as b j when I trained in Vegas and believe me he is not on Geales level.

yes, i think people r now saying because green beat flores, he is supposedly not much good. but before the fight was made, green was ducking him and was too scared to fight somebody of bj's calibre.
too many people r underestimating bj imo. no he hasn't beaten no mike tyson's, but he is one of top couple cruisers in the world i believe.

Flores is a Anerican hope because the yanks don't have boxers anymore.
