Great fight. Another world class opponent being brought to Aussie shores, and the best part is we dont have to travel this time.
I dont know too much about Wlodarzyk but from reports he likes to stand and fight which should suit Danny. Those who doknow a bit about him, how does he compare to Lebedev ?? the reason i ask is that I dont think Lebedev would bother Green. I suppose we will see soon enough how much the Tarver fight really took out of Green.
In a recent press conference he stated there were no easy fights, and this promotion just proves it.

I think you will find the win over Cunningham was a home town stew in Poland. Cunningham won the rematch. Green should have fought this bloke instead of Tarver. But full credit for jumping straight back in there with a world champ. Don't think he can beat Tarver probably should leave that fight alone.

Guys Krzysztof Wlodarczyk is a very aggressive fighter has the typical euro style tight defence his up right very physical strong tough nut to crak for Greeney. I reckon after a shattering beating loss he took from the samrter Tarver With his confidence low and everything else that comes with a K.O Loss i can't see this being the smartest move jumping straight into a big W.B.C world title fight.. But good luck to Danny hope he can bring it home but would have rather him fight Big kiwi Shane Cameron as a warm up to bigger fights like this..

Do you know something that has not been reported? He was taken to hospital in July, reportedly for an overdose of anti-depressants, but left after treatment.

According to Wlods brother in law Thomasz Babilonski, he was admitted to a warsaw hospital in an unconscious state. He was placed in an induced coma until doctors were satisfied he could breathe un assisted. He was then released to a mental health centre for assesment. He had overdosed on anti depressants while suffering a family break up from wife Grosia. That was on the 23/7/11. Because of his mental state, his promoter for the unification bout with Huck said that bout was now out of the question.

green is as good as father christmas , ive been able to watch both tarver and jones on home soil and now another world title fight in perth too. and ive witnessed loads of good fighters on the every undercard. gets ktfo and gets back up with another title shot, gold

Tough fight for Danny, this guy is 29 years old. 45-2 record and a natural cruiserweight. Good on Green machine promotions for bringing another World champion to our shores and big props to danny for taking this fight after the hiding he got from Tarver.

It was not the result of a fight, was it? He was taken to hospital as a result of an overdose and put into a coma by medical staff. It is not as if he suffered a brain haemorrhage. I have seen people overdosed on heroin up and walking around after a Narcan shot.
