I too think the De Leon fight was too close to call and on a good day i would give you the benefit of doubt and say Broner lost that fight. However, the judges ruled the fight a win for Broner. I think that fight was more down to work rate than being out thought or out classed. If there is one thing i do agree with, it's the fact that Broner needs to up his work rate considerably in fights. I personally scored the Malignaggi fight four rounds in Broner's favour. Paulie definately threw more punches, but most didn't land. His success rate was very poor indeed, but he looked busy and that is what caught the judges eye. It's your perogative to ignore what the judges say with reagrds to the De Leon fight, but the fact remains that he hasn't had a loss on his record to date, though i can clearly see and agree that the result was debatable. Plenty of people have issued warnings on Broner's style, most noticeably Roy Jones Junior, who has mentioned his stance many times. Even Mayweather has noted his work rate, so his definciencies are noted, it depends where you look and listen. The media has a vested interest in Broner, so it's hardly liekly that they will piss on his parade, but criticism is out there.

yeah its pretty excruciating to watch,Broner does act like a dick and probably is one judging by his exploits outside the ring with his seed spreading but when he acts like the way he does,i just take it with a pinch of salt,its old hat,not the first and by no means the last but it is pretty funny and its part of the "charm" its hilarious watching him trying to talk like Ali/Mayweather and stuttering and talking utter shite and he,s always using food as analogys,steak,ice cream etc,the mans a genius with his mouth but not in the way he thinks

That's true with regards to Mayweather taking on different persona's. After the jail sentence, it seems he has ditched the super flashy attitude and replaced it with a more mature, thoughtfull Floyd. No doubt this is genuine to a degree, but i think he knew that it was perhaps time to tone down the attitude and brashness and appear more considered in his interviews. Even Broner in interview lately, said that there was a time limit on clubbing and acting flashy.

That is my point with Broner. It's so cheesy, how can anyone take it seriously ? It's all been done before. The swearing, the ghetto voice, the half witted hangers on, the peace signs, the gold teeth, the gold necklaces, rap music, dancing girls moving their booties in a club, sunglasses, the sentances that start with "You know.......", etc etc etc etc etc zzzzzzzzzzzzzz lol

But you still have to have some talent because that bull will only take you so far, you still have to deliver and have something that looks a little different. It's a persona. I remember watching the documentary about Biggie and Tupac some years ago and in it there is some footage of the police interviewing Tupac about how he got started. Tupac answer's the officer in normal English. No ghetto speak, no street talk, just totally normal, no arrogance nothing. So he put it on and he did it because that is what the music required and that is what the image required. Can you imagine Broner's mum saying "Do you want a sandwich ? " and Broner answering " You know, easy money, it all there, you know, miss sandwich baker, i take it all in, you know........." NO NO NO, he will just say " Yeah, thanks mom "

He has 5 kids by 5 different women at the age of 23 and was done for punching a woman in the face and nicking her purse only a couple of years ago. He is not playing at being a heel, he is a heel.

how come broner didnt fight miguel vazquez? i understand a lot on here think that burns ducked broner, but what is the excuse for not fighting MV. why has this so - called pfp superstar avoided the best two men in the division, when there must have been good financial incentives for them to fight ? looks like he's copying floyd in more ways than one.
